Yeah, labels appear not to be working. Need to find another server until this is fixed, as without them at 1080p I'm basically flying blind :(

 

I agree.

 

Flying in MP is a mixed bag of variables, anyway.

 

The only way to play on an even playing field and no cheating or pseudo-cheating is rent out a big convention hall and compete with everybody have the same machine and setup and charge an admission fee.

I was on the server right now and "take off assistance" seems to be on (I don't know how that works). I almost crashed on take-off when I applied rudder to the P-51D. I have not checked rudder assistance or take off assistance in my settings. It happened as well in another server, but it was not like that this afternoon.

 

Is it some kind of bug or did I do something wrong? Don't recall messing with my settings lately.

 

Update patches sometimes reset stuff.

 

Good idea to always check your options settings before entering a MP arena.

The strange of it all is that I checked and rechecked these things a few times after I saw the problem. On "controls" I did not find any search results for "assistance", "rudder" (related to take-off assistance" or "take" (for take-off).

 

It just went back to normal with the restart, I just don't know how. Perhaps some key on the keyboard that I hit, I am not sure.

Seems to be a very common occurrence in the last week or so. Mind you, looking at the list there seems to be quite a few down. RAF Server is not there either, and the list is quite short.

Excuse my ignorance, but why are so many servers offline seemingly more than online? Where do the issues lie?

For the porpose of testing new statistics version that is currently in development the test server will be up on 9th of May

=BURNING SKIES= WWII SERVER TEST

We invite all pilots to fly on the server during this day. It will help to catch and fix possible bugs in new stats engine.

The Eagle Dynamics master server was down yesterday morning (GMT) which is why you saw a much shorter server list for most of the day.
