I have pre purchased the Mig 21, try to update and it says,

cant move G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCSWorld\Mods/aircraft/Su-25T/Missions/EN/Training/Combat Employment/image.png: (2) The system cannot find the file specified.

Yesterday I downloaded the training files in the training section, dont know if that has something to do with it.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

I seem to have lucked out, all is ok. I downloaded the Mig 21 install file from the DCS modules section and installed it that way, could try and temporally change the file name of the "Training" file in the path up above ( I changed mine "Training-orig"),update the game, then if successful, change the file back to its original name, i believe thats worked for some.

in the bottom R H corner in the main menu screen it says 1.2.10.32095 not sure about the .521 at the end. tried all the modules and they all work,

Have you checked if the file really does not exist?

YES! I've been having this problem all morning and I cannot find a way to fix it without re-installing the whole thing.

I can't even manually download the updated version. The site wants my user ID and password, but does not accept them!!:helpsmilie:

Most likely your antivirus moved the file to quarantine. or deleted it.

This usually happens when:

Same problem here. In ...\Combat Employment i've got only task.lua file. I've checked my antivirus - no files are quarantined.

Yes. Still not working. I use Microsoft Security Essentials. Can you upload that file? I'll try with copying it to that directory.

If you are getting that message from an FTP site, it is because the site is full. There is no login for the download, that is what anonymous FTP does when it reaches its max number of connections.

I got this also, glad I'm not alone as it did worry me a bit, haven't had a look at DCS since updating however so not sure if there were any negative effects.

Just tried to open DCS world to have a look, it tried to update it again so obviously the update didn't apply first time around as I thought it had. Got the same warning again and when i clicked okay it went straight to the home screen....
