Vinny002 Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Hi, dooom! I have problems uploading the pictures. Hi Santa! @skateZilla: the area in the North Pole in DCS world is just like any other area in DCS world, it is just a dramatic change in east or west latitude depending in what direction I'm flying in. Also when I fly over the North Pole in DCS world, the sun flips over to the opposite direction and the sun flipping when flying over the poles should be fixed in the future. This is the same as flying over the South Pole too. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

effte Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Well, the sun 'flipping over' does seem to be a good indication that there is in fact a correct, round, earth model. :music_whistling: ----- Introduction to UTM/MGRS - Trying to get your head around what trim is, how it works and how to use it? - DCS helos vs the real world.

An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
