Prevyet, Andre - Would you know if this is compatible with iRacing, Project Cars, Dirt Rally, Assetto Corsa, Live for Speed and rFactor2?

You can use JetSeat in sound mode with any game. That's simple as 1-2-3.

1) Plug JetSeat's 3.5 mm male jack into soundcard output as if it was a Butckicker,

2)plug headseat into JetSeat's 3.5 mm female jack,

3)press and hold MODE button at JetSeat's control unit for 3 seconds. LED color changes. That's it.

 

Adjust vibration level by rotating big black knob at control unit or via JetSeat Control panel App.

Note: keep your ears safe while setting it up.

Will this work for Cliffs of Dover (CloD) WWII combat flight sim?

I fly CloD a lot because DCS is not up to speed with WWII yet, so if this works for CloD that would be great and might give you more customers.

it works via Gametrix ForceFeedback driver. Not so rich with effects as we did for DCS, but some feedback is presented.

if you have a FFB drive wheel or anything else with FFB connected to your PC, try to disconnect it.

I can't get it to work in sound mode. Bass comes through the speaker in the pass through but nothing from the seat. Should I disconnect usb? The led changed colour. I tried running the jetseat handler and set that to sound mode as well. I'm testing by playing sounds with a lot of bass and firing tank cannons in arma

Edit: I've just thought- there is a built in amp on my speakers after the passthrough so maybe the volume is too low for seat. I'll try turning amp down and main volume up

USB is irrelevant to sound mode. May be connected or not, no matter.

Jetseat handler is for USB mode only.

May be you should turn up a black dial at JetSeat control unit.

Did you remember to press the "Mode" button on the seat controller?

You hold it until the LED switches from red to green.

 

Sometimes I have had to go into the Gametrix seat control SW and set it to sound there, but not very often.

In general the seat control button is enough.

 

I use sound out from the headset plug on my PC, so no big amp is needed.

Thanks Andre, I have a FF joystick, but I don't want to disconnect that.

I have given up trying to get working for CloD for now, but if anyone stumbles on a solution I will have another go some time; no drama, but it would be the icing on the cake to use for both of my flight sims. Might also expand the customer base for the jetseat.

Yea it was just too low volume going into the jetseat, I turned the main volume up and it worked fine

These effects are not present in a real aircraft. No part of the flight stick is connected to the wheels so I'm curious to know why you'd want to introduce them in a sim.

Not in Canada, Arizona actually, and Andre got me one and the whole transaction went as well as one can imagine. As to the JetSeat, at first I thought it would probably more "gimmick" than actually adding to immersion. Well, it does as advertised and adds a whole different dimension to flying in these sims we love. I have adjusted to it to the point that if I forget to turn it on, I know immediately something is not right. If you can, get one. I know Canada's importation laws are different than ours, but since it is what it is, it shouldn't be a problem.
