I ordered the JetSeat Sim Edition about 3 weeks ago. Is there any update on when it might ship?

Also, does anybody have a comparison of how the Sim Edition compares to the KW-908 AM? It looks like they're both the same (uses the same motors and positioning), just in different form factors.

What is difference between this link and this one: http://shop.gametrix.ru/vibronakidki.html

?

Those are different shops with different holders, product lines, prices and levels of service. Both shops were discussed in this thread, just use a search tool.

Any planned updates to the seat within the next 12 months?

That's quite possible. World is changing fast.

Wow! Looks like this time I broke my promise to ship it within 2 weeks... My bad :(

Would you please give me your order number or full name, sir? I will ship your seat till the end of the week.

That's right, the form factor is the main difference, as well as slightly different motors. Edited by =Andre=

PM sent! Edit: Andre responded promptly to let me know it'll be ready soon. That's great news, as I was expecting a much longer wait due to its pre-order status. Thanks again, Andre!

Jetseat received all in good order and really fast too! I've started setting up and I love it!

That thump in the pants when I dropped the Spitty on the runway was delicious! Cheers Andre, great product. :)

I went through several pages in this thread, but the basic idea I got was that Gametrix manufactures the seat, and you just resell the seat for English-speaking customers? The price difference is quite substantial. Is there anything I'm missing?

Yeah, you missed the part where one guy who bought from the Russian store never saw his seat, even if he paid for it.

Add to that difficult communication (unless you know how to speak in Russian) and problems with transferring the payment to the store.

Another thing is, by buying from Andre, you support the big work he has put, and is putting, into delivering and supporting a free software that makes the seat work well with DCS (and with other titles as well).

That alone would be worth something in my opinion.

Finally, when you buy from him, you can be sure of good service and support, which you can't be sure of in the Russian store.

But with all that said, you are of course free to buy where you want.

System specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440)

Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

Agreed. Without Andre you would not be using this seat in DCS, you'd be stuck with the buttkicker which is far less immersive.

Why not support his efforts?

Does he have any relationship with Gametrix? What if the Gametrix seat is defective? Who do I talk with to get a replacement/refund? The mechanism is motorized, correct? Everything wears out. $100 for the seat seems realistic, but $200 for something that won't last more than 3 years?

I'll probably be buying it, but I still have some hesitation.

Remi,

The guys are right, Andre is an excellent support for everything related to the Jetseat. From buying to maintaining, Andre does the job. You may say the price is higher, ok? I don't care as long as I don't have any headache.

So far, Andre is the vital link for me to get the Jetseat and the experience is awesome.

Good luck speaking russian, my friend. I am from Brazil, and I don't, not to mention that my country is very, very far from Russia.

All the best,

Sydy

Andre,

Thank you. I'm not in a super rush, and I'll drop you a note if the shipment falls too far behind. I'm happy to wait my turn. Thanks for the prompt follow0-up.

And you ship everywhere right? I'm in US and I have a power adapter but it's for when I go to Europe. I guess I need one to convert from us to eu.

That's right. I've already got some happy customers in the US.

You will want to use something like this https://www.amazon.com/Ckitze-Flat-Europe-Asia-Adapter/dp/B002TZBW74

There is no seat requirement these should fit on any computer chair I imagine?

I need to check my chair. Usually when I am sitting I'm not sitting with my back directly on the chair. Pairing this with the rift should be very interesting.
