F-15C is a module rated for high fidelity? ( ( ( ( NOPE ) ) ) )

yet all "fly" F-15C

The F15C is NOT a full DCS module. The F35 was advertised as something it could not deliver. A full DCS module, with an advanced FM and all the fancy systems modeling. Something that seems impossible to me, we hardly even know what the cockpit looks like. (I have seen pictures of powered down glass pits, but never ones with any systems online).

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

ok anyway I do not like old planes....

I think they are in the wrong place.

DCS begin his work with modern aircraft [model: Ka-50 / A-10 / modern air combat / FC / FC2].

I hope to DCS keep what They have started.

I do not like see older aircraft in DCS,

DCS changed the course of Which Began.

Try google, there are tons of pics showing the displays powered up and there are videos showing the simulators in use.. (And the simulators all use the same core as the actual airplane so they are extremely accurate..)

I prefer flying a good depiction of an old aircraft, the closest to the reality as possible like the A10, Mig21, E-25, F104, Mi24, Hawk ... than a Sci-Fi version of a modern Jet. I've been there, done that many times:

Eidos Joint Strike Fighter

Novalogic F22:

... and many more

I missed the drama with that kickstarter, but it really was just a pipe dream. There was never any chance of it actually being completed. The real F-35 is still a prototype. Not even Lockheed could tell you what the specs are cause they haven't built one that actually works yet!

In any case, I'd like to see DCS focus on 1970 to 1990. This largely coincides with what we currently have in game excluding the sabre and WW2 stuff. The reason for this focus is it is the newest stuff the developers can reliably get detailed information on. Anything past 1990 is likely to be classified. Most planes from that period are also still in service with export purchasers and in some cases domestically too, though generally upgraded.

This does include some of those planes on your list though. The F-14A (not the D), F-16A, F-15A and many others make the cut. Incidentally, ED is currently making an F/A-18C. These are still in service with the US Navy and with many other nations too. They are being replaced with F/A-18E's and theoretically with F-35's (assuming it ever works), but for the moment they are still front line aircraft. On the rotary side, BST is doing the Mi-24 and AH-1W once they finish off their MiG-15. Both are in widespread service today.

Edit: The F-104G proposed in this thread also makes the cut. As would an F-5E, F-4E, Mirage F.1 and a large number of other planes.

That's the only post I could find quickly, but I know I've seen others including one that confirmed it would be the AH-1W instead of the originally planned AH-1G. Their website, which hasn't been updated in ages, lists the AH-1G as being released in winter 2014. Obviously didn't happen, but I suspect the AH-1W pics/vidoes will start popping up the instant the MiG-15 hits open beta. I haven't heard anything on the Mi-24 model they'll be doing but I hope it's a V or later.

Is it true that the G will be replaced by the W? If so, I'm totally for it! I just want hellfire missiles and some tanks and that will be the best day in my life. Please say its true.. PLEASE!!!

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

F-104G would be awesome... especially if it came with a Kormoran or two.:thumbup:

Wouldn't pay for it. Now, if we're talking 105's, that's a completely different subject. :D

the famous bang when running up the engine before takeoff will blow you out of your chair if** they reproduce it!

(often, the turbine was throttled faster then it should, injecting too much fuel, causing a bang, and often a backfire from the flood of fuel.. that bang could be heard for a very long distance and from that sound alone, everyone knew it was a a 104 on the runway..)...

I read quite a bit about this jet and all in all it would be very challenging to fly this baby. The best example is that the gear has to be lifted within 2 sec after take-off. Otherwise it will be damaged and blocked.

Don't get me wrong, I would really love to master this challenge.

All in all it depends on the version which would be simulated. The original US version was one of an daylight, nice wheather intercepter and quite hard to master. Out of it the German Luftwaffe made a day and night, all wheather fighter-bomber which absolutely worsened aerodynamic behaviour of the jet. Hmm...an even bigger challenge.... :pilotfly:

If I would like to fly SFM I could get it for free at World of Warplanes.

You only need 2 of the following 3: Altitude - Speed - Skill

I would like very much to get the F104 with the ZELL-System (Zero Length Launch) for being able to take-off without an airbase....

You know that people not wanting what you want doesn't make them automatically wrong, or evil, right?

You can sulk about it, or you can do something about it.

No one is stopping you from putting together a development team, petitioning the manufacturers, and the U.S Department of Defense for the systems, flight, and performance data, and building it.

People have explained the situation to you 5 ways from Sunday, but if you think they're wrong, go for it.

They might even be wrong, and you'll succeed.

Best of luck.

1° You know that people not wanting what you want doesn't make them automatically wrong, or evil, right?

R: wrong ! ! !

people wanting old planes , find another simulation platform.

2 ° You can sulk about it, or you can do something about it.

correct !

3° No one is stopping you from putting together a development team, petitioning the manufacturers, and the U.S Department of Defense for the systems, flight, and performance data, and building it.

R: negative ! , I put my wish list , if they produce the modules I like I will buy , if they produce the modules that I do not like I will not buy, that simple ! ! !

4° People have explained the situation to you 5 ways from Sunday, but if you think they're wrong, go for it.

R: I hope they explain 5 ways because producing old planes in another simulation platform not here in DCS

5° They might even be wrong, and you'll succeed.

I really hope succeed in my choices.

6° Best of luck.

Thanks ! ! !

I want mount the mission: Desert Storm , but I'll need some new playable models. . .

MIRAGE F-1 -----------> UNAVAILABLE

MIG 21 -----------> AVAILABLE

MIG-25 foxbat -----------> UNAVAILABLE

MIG-29A -----------> AVAILABLE

F-15A or C -----------> AVAILABLE

F-15E -----------> UNAVAILABLE

F-16A/B -----------> UNAVAILABLE

EF-111A -----------> UNAVAILABLE

I'm tired of unrealistic missions.

I really want to simulate a real war, I'd love to have this map in DCS

with all the planes that were at war
