From all the pictures and hints P-38 Lightning, F-14D Tomcat and F5F Hellcat, and York Class USN Aircraft Carrier.

So one of the theatres is definately in the pacific WW2.

I'm on the fence about where the pacific map will be... surely the big battles around small islands like Iwo Jima and Midway would be easier to model with such small landmass to deal with but the P-38 wouldn't play a role in those battles.

Also nothing has been said of the P-38 so it could turn out to be AI, leaving space for another plane to step in as flyable.

Anyhow all should be a little clearer come Monday Cobra time.

CBI or Coral/Solomon/Bismarck Sea would be pretty neat geographically.

It would be awesome to have New Guinea as a map, it's not really a theater that gets touched often.

Shot in the dark: F-14D first, with A6M Zero and F6F/F4U along with Pacific Theatre map. Mapping out a single island like Iowa Jima or Gaudalcanal out in the pacific is a lot less work than any other theatre in the works, and would be easily achievable with an 8 man team.

Maybe Gaudalcanal because the P-38 was also there. The P-38 also flew in Burma and New Guinea so fingers crossed those too might get a look in athough would take a bit longer to produce.

if they have an f-18c, and now an f-14.. they're gonna have to have a carrier sooner or later

and if "blue" gets a carrier, the red side is going to be clamoring for their own carrier

i like the way this is going

please f-16 f-14 and a-6

I will bear Leatherneck's children if they release an Intruder.

If they are considering an A-6 Intruder at some point in the future that would be beyond exciting but I'll buy anything from LNS.

I would buy the hell out of an Intruder.

I just don't see them doing an F-16, but take a moment and think about the massive explosion on the forums that would occur if they announced that tomorrow.. WOW

It honestly wouldn't be a bad financial decision either. Once released the Falcon community would be easy money. Just need dynamic campaigns and *boom* Falcon is finished. ;)

Sometimes we're lucky though, while everyone is eagerly waiting for news, we are happily sleeping and get the news in the morning.

Not that lucky this time though :P
