HiJack Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) I did a test on Windows 10 build 9926 (clean install) her a couple of weeks ago and I have never had that easy installation of any Saitek X52 Pro before, it just worked. DCS World also worked perfectly and I tested it as a client and as a server, just worked. But the current windows build were missing some more needed features so I went back to Win7 again but it definitely looks promising. There was some arguing between Windows and AMD on who's graphical driver the system should run, Windows wanted to upgrade to it's own just after I installed the last AMD drivers. One thing that did NOT work was upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10 on your current install :( Windows 10 seems to want a bigger System partition than Windows 7. The Windows 7 system partition are 100MB and the one that Windows 10 creates are 350MB. Edited March 3, 2015 by HiJack wrong build

My Windows X boots from USB3.0 Memory Stick (128GB), installed it on a USB Purposely, So I can boot it by simply plugging it in, and access my normal stuff on my regular HDDs. WinX Still fights with AMD over their drivers, as well as other things. The VM Machine I have has more issues... Good test client  I've heard ppl also run it on 16GB USB sticks as the core itself only occupies about 10GB :D EDIT: And yes, I'm aware of the AMD driver issues but it's just to disable the msdriver update? Or? Edited March 30, 2015 by HiJack

HiJack Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Windows 10 stopped working since last DCS patch. Now ~1fps :( What build are you on?
tarracta Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 What build are you on? 10049. It stopped working since DCS 1.2.16 ... tried Win7 compatibility mode, reinstall DCS, reinstall nvidia drivers ... nothing. But I know I can't expect any support with BETA operating system. Hoping for DCS 2.0
HiJack Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Can you roll back to 10041? You find it under settings and Update & rescue, you should have one option to roll back to previous version of Windows 10.
tarracta Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Under 10041 it was the same, the last time it worked it was 9926. Patch 1.2.16 or Windows update 10041 killed DCS ... But I truly think it's a thing of DCS because all other games run just perfectly....
