I posted version 0.91 to the ED servers a few days ago. It fixes compatibility with the latest 1.5.4 / 2.0.3 versions of DCS.

Does anyone has a better Description.lua file for F86F?

 

The cockpit mods for this plane are "old style" so they don't integrate into the new dropdown list from the Special tab for F86.

 

I tried to build one with this tool:

What's wrong with them? I don't understand your point.

 

Double dashes? If so, you should delete "--" dashes in front of the line that is used by the mod.

Not the double dashes :) ... I said it works. Is just looking strange from the other description.lua files with those "arg" lines like it is something about animated textures or something.

 

But, if it looks ok for you too... then so be it. I made all the F86 cockpit mods work with it so... Cool!:thumbup:

So I really like the Savegame folder approach for mods as I can then update/repair the game without needing to uninstall/reinstall the mods. With this in mind I'm trying to get skulleader's P-51D cockpit mod to work in that fashion without success.

 

I understand I need a Description.lua file, does anyone know where I could find/generate one ?

FYI, I updated my M-2000C english cockpit in September:

 

0.93: (4 Sep 2017) Resync with latest material names from RAZBAM. Fixes all warning lamps and adds proper alpha layer to countermeasure panel.

1. There is an F-5E cockpit mod that at the time of posting this I can't seem to get working but it exists and I'm sure it does work

2. I'm really surprised that there are so many cockpit mods since before when I looked for them they seemed almost completely existent so thank you for enlightening me to all these wonderful mods, now only if I flew any of these aircraft

You did an outstanding effort starting this thread, but I truly believe in the power of the search box    It's so much less effort than maintaining this type of Catalog threads.

So, forget about updating this and just let the users learn to search
