ApoNOOB Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) Could use some CAS to get this testing going... ^^ *seed* edit: also are there plans to add Mirage & L39? As somebody who does a lot of GCI, IFF issues don't bother me too much. :) Second question, I saw on some public stress test mission on buddyspike that you guys were testing the CSAR script. Any chance for getting a test run with it in blueflag? I love the idea of not only sitting around and waiting for a troop insertion but flying around trying to rescue pilots and return team lives. (Also CTLD assets plx^^) Edited January 18, 2016 by ApoNOOB
0xDEADBEEF Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 So good! Please don't forget to add the M2000 to the mission xcom! ;)

gregzagk Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Thanks all for registering for the first time or for coming back! :) The stress test mission is on the works and will be up in the server from today. As there is a bug of the current DCS versions that propably can cause the server not to be visible in the servers list, you can check its availability through our realtime map webpage: Realtime Map page: http://opblueflag-buddyspike.rhcloud.com/ Buddyspike's webpage: http://www.buddyspike.net Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/buddy_spike Server IP for direct connection: 147.102.19.134:10308, No password Mission's Changelog since the last round: - Added Mirages 2000C slots - Edited some aircraft numbers in airbases, reduced dedicated aircraft slots - Air to Air missiles limitations (No AIM-120C, R-77, R-27ER, R-27ET available) - A-G weapons limitation (No CBUs, Nuclear bombs available ) - Added fortification units ( road outposts, 2x bunkers & armed tower) in cities on their central roads - Added Ciribob's CSAR script (modified to save the total number of MIA/KIA & rescued pilots in a file) Currently no CSAR choppers available in the server - Added Ciribob's CTLD script for troops transport and JTAC for autolasing To do: - Tweaks on positions & numbers of ground units - Test a WIP fuel consuption system on airbases - Edit aircraft number on airbases (possible removing dedicated slots based on stability tests) - Add CSAR choppers in the mission - Test MP stability of the new features (CSAR, JTAC, Numbers of units) - Add day/night versions of the mission file As in the previous rounds, depending on the server performance we may have to add or remove features in the mission. Please be patient if the server needs to go down and up again quite often in order to host new features or edit possible bugs. ApoNOOB Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Looks great, how would I go about testing a JTAC? Where do I get / activate one?
gregzagk Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Looks great, how would I go about testing a JTAC? Where do I get / activate one? At the moment you should be able to load a JTAC unit with a chopper through the F10 Menu/CTLD. Then you have to place/drop it in a location in which it can gain line of sight on enemy units. If all works ok it should start sending messages, pop up smoke and lase targets. gregzagk Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Guys, do I register my group here or on the web and whats your take on red or blue for us, given contribution is likely to be higher than last time? Hey Pikey, Your squadron is already registered and you can register your newest pilots names here. I will then edit the first post. Any of your members that didn't already, can register also to http://www.buddyspike.net to monitor tactics etc. I think you should join again as Blue side if I undestand correctly your question. Your squadron did a great job in the previous rounds and kept the level high. We will try again to monitor and take care the balance between the two sides pilot numbers and active squadrons if any problem occurs. ApoNOOB Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 At the moment you should be able to load a JTAC unit with a chopper through the F10 Menu/CTLD. Just tested it and I was unable to load/see JTAC via the CTLD menu. I tried in a Mi-8 from FARP & Airport. (MK-SA&SA) On the other hand I just killed myself and CSAR script reacted... Looks like it works. :)
