Flame Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Update - Ace Of Spades - The Ace Factor in Ace Of Spades has been updated, one of the calculations was not entirely correct which led to wrong data in the pilots table. Issue is now fixed and the table shows the correct Ace Factor data retrospective and moving forward. Can be seen here - http://89.163.173.82/DCS/AoS/Player.php Blue Flag - We will start the new Blue Flag round testing this weekend hopefully. More information on the round will be published soon. Good news man, we have been waiting for it :)

QuiGon Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) Will there be different lighting/weather conditions in the upcoming BlueFlags? Having some varying lighting (day/dusk/dawn/night) would be welcomed. Same with weather (clear, cloudy, fog, rain, wind) if performance permits. Always flying mid-day in a clear blue sky gets boring. Different light and weather conditions would also require different tactics, adding to the challenge. :) Edited July 4, 2016 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

So, in the next round we will add time of day changes and weather changes. Chrinik Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 The BF was about balancing the features based on what's available in DCS at the moment not necessarily being fully historically correct. I would not be surprised to see Mi-8, Huey and maybe Mig-21 and F-5E if it's available on time. But then I´d rather call it "Vietnam" rather then "Korea"... Very interesting, I hope the air to ground won´t include too many hard targets, it would be fine. But I´ve been looking for an excuse to get into the MiG-15 I just bought. I really enjoyed the night missions in the earlier rounds of Blue Flag, but haven't noticed different weather though. But then I´d rather call it "Vietnam" rather then "Korea"... Very interesting, I hope the air to ground won´t include too many hard targets, it would be fine. But I´ve been looking for an excuse to get into the MiG-15 I just bought. I would love to have both, a Korea BlueFlag (MiG-15, F-86 and maybe P-51, F4U) and a Vietnam BlueFlag (MiG-21, F-5, UH-1, Mi-8), but not mixed up together. Pikey Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi, given there's still an issue with Hawk module for many and that recently ED made massive changes in OB that really look pretty damn awesome and may affect multiplayer, is there a possibility to wait and build the testing on the next live version? ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

RAZBAM_ELMO Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Early version of the sidewinder. That's OK. The mig has flares. And in a recent update a while back they made it so that signal and illumination flares can fool IR guidance systems....check mate sabre Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. Pikey Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Yay! To be honest we never had enough people to see if it made any effect and I cannot wait to try this feature of the OB build, I have a lot of optimism here, despite all the history! Fingers crossed we get it to live to day! I did try multiplayer cockpit with someone who has a nototious bandwidth issue and I felt a slight latent effect once, but it didnt blackout or make the whooshing noise you normally get with a spike so i'm pretty optimistic here. We are waiting to start the testing on the next stable release (1.5.4) that includes the massive MP changes. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
