Hi folks,

am new to forum. Now that i have successfully installed DCS World 2 + Nevada+UH1 i would like to install my A-10 as well. Unfortunately neither world 2 nor my profile gives me an option to install/download an World 2 compatible version.

Could somebody give me a hand. Would be much appreciated. Many thanks

I take it you are using the module manager to download.

try logging in and out a few times.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Did you use the refresh button on the module page?

That worked for me, and I have seen others use refresh button, then close down sim, and then restart.

The module manager isn't completely reliable for me all the time.

sometimes when you go to the installed page and try retrieving keys, that doesn't always work.

It sometimes will show "no key".

You can leave that page, come back later and then can get your serial on 2nd try.

Thanks again, but didnt work out either. In the modulemanager there is just an A 10 that was from Flaming Cliffs. Mine is not displayed. Although it is shown in my account on the website.

Also, be sure you have logged in with the Module Manager using the same credentials as you have for the website.

*as noted above (should have read all the posts again...) :(

Everything bound to my one and only account. Did that check also :( A bit frustrating. Just remembered that DCS World2 recognized it after the first start with the Nevada map. Unfortunately something went wrong during the installation of the A10.

Try to use dcs_updater to install A-10C. Short how to:

1) Open your DCS World 2 OpenAlpha folder

2) Shift+right click on BIN folder and select Open command line here (or something like that- my windows is in polish)

3) In command line wirte: dcs_updater install A-10C

Should install A-10C module. When you first run a mission with it there will be a popup where you will have to insert your product key.

Thank you very much, the manual installation with the updater did the trick :)

But now im facing a serious flight control problem. Im using the TM Warthog. All buttons are working but the flight controlls are very slow moving. It seems i trimm the aircraft rather than flying it. The controlls are moving real slow and not responsive :(

Thanks all for your support!!!

At this point, running a repair might be a good idea. If for no other reason than to re-verify all of the files. Use the same command line that you used to install the A-10C but just put 'dcs_updater repair'

I had the same issue, The A-10C module was not available in DCS World 2. I tried a download ( E-Shop > Modules > DCS: A-10C Warthog) and manual install but it was looking for world version 1.5 instead.

Your simple 1,2,3 instructions worked great. Thank you very much.

I originally purchased A-10C beta in October 2010 so I finally got my "official" free Nevada Map.

I'm new to DCS World 2 and after a struggle I managed to load the A10-C, but there are no training missions available? This is the same for the SU-25T and TF-51D. Can anyone advise on how I can load the training missions on to DCS World 2?

Many thanks.

Not sure what You mean. The old map with its missions is going to be merged into 2.0 somewhere in (hopefully) near future, so You will be able to fly them for sure.

If You're asking about new set of training mission designed specifically around Nevada map, I wouldn't expect it ever to happen, as the basic tutorials must work on the map everyone owns, i.e. the free Caucasus map.

Hi folks - newbie here with the same or similar problem. I have a standalone copy of A10-C from 2011 that I would like to run inside DCS World 2 (which I have installed). I have bound my standalone serial number to my new DCS account, and have installed A10-C - it shows as installed in the Module Manager along with the two free planes. However, the serial number shows as 'No Key'. I assume that is problematic - and may be reason why I cannot use any of the planes, and have no terrains? Any ideas on how I can get going here? Nothing works, all DCS world menu items that actually let you do something are grayed out. I have logged out several times, and back in, waited a day and tried again etc. Not working....thanks in advance for your help. And let me know

He, if nothing works try to contact ED customer service and provide them with your key, they should be able to solve this. Another option is try to install DCS 1.5 and see if it works there (especially that there are many more missions for 1.5 than for 2.0 at the moment). Also, for 2.0 make sure that you separately download and install the Nevada map, without it no flying will be possible.
