Maulkin
Chuck you might want to make some adjustments for the "Special modes" in regards to CCM. I was a bit confused when you say: "You can cycle through them using the SPECIAL MODES FWD/AFT controls on your HOTAS." It was my understanding that FWD would cycle through all modes, as would AFT, but in fact FWD will only cycle through the Horizontal modes (BA2 and BAH), and AFT will cycle through boresight and either Vertical or HUD-scan mode depending on if you have the 530D selected on the PCA. Also, Slide 38 should indicate there is a control for button 5 when depressed (which is to unlock I believe) --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
vparez
Great guide Chuck, really helped me a lot! One observation though, in preflight on page 41 action 5: V/UHFradio–MARCHE(ON) is not really correct; as you show earlier this M stands for MANUAL, not MARCHE. So, one could use P - PRESET to select a correct channel in preflight, not necessarily M. It certainly isn't powering up the radio.

Nealius
I've got a note on the radios. The guide says the V/UHF radio can use frequencies between 118.00 and 400.00, but currently in-game only the following frequency ranges are usable: 118.00 - 143.90 225.00 - 399.90 The radio refuses to tune to anything between 144.00 and 224.90. Doing so results in the repeater dial defaulting to 225.00.

jojo
I've got a note on the radios. Doing so results in the repeater dial defaulting to 225.00. It works as intended. These are aero VHF range (118.00 - 143.90) and aero UHF range (225 - 399.90). In mission editor you must assign to the JTAC a frequency within these ranges. If it's within 30.00 - 88.00 range then it's VHF-FM and you will find it on A-10 or other dedicated CAS aircraft, as these radios are used by ground troops. M-2000C is first a fighter, AG is secondary... [Edit] For better understanding Edited August 23, 2016 by jojo Mirage fanatic ! Rudel_chw
Hi, I just bought the Mirage a couple of days ago, and it cames with the an English Flight Manual on the "Doc" folder ... ... however, that is not the most current manual, I just found out a link on the last page of Chuck's Guide that points to an updated version of this Flight Manual: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-uSpZROuEd3b08zbkhTdlRaU2M I can't understand why the game doesn`t came with this latest version already installed, but my thanks to Chuck for providing the above link. The PDF file that came with the game is 40 pages shorter (124 vs 164) and the one on the above link is much more complete, tough it still lacks infomation on the INS :( Cheers. Ramsay
The current Razbam manual no longer includes "Chapter 18: Performance Charts" that was included in the first release. The main section has grown from 107 to 115 pages. Although the old charts are interesting you should refer to latest Razbam manual as it will include most amendments and changes made to the M-2000C since release (hence the missing INS information in the earlier manual that you've noticed). The PDF file that came with the game is 40 pages shorter (124 vs 164) and the one on the above link is much more complete, tough it still lacks infomation on the INS :( i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080

spiddx
Yeah my guess would be that the performance charts are no longer accurate after several flight model tweaks so they were removed from the manual. QuiGon
Hey Charly, I got a question about a part of the JTAC procedure that you describe in your guide: Put diamond close to the target and press the “MAGIC SLAVE/AG DESIGNATE” button on your HOTAS. Target will be marked with a cross and will automatically be aligned to what is being lased by the JTAC. (emphasis by me) What exactly is beeing aligned here? AFAIK there is no laser spot tracker in the M2000. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! EntropySG
the way I understand it is you designate the target and slave so you get a CCRP release cue, in order to get the bomb somewhat close to the actual target. The bomb itself will then track the laser spot, independent of your aircraft [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

That's why I'm asking what he means when he says "....will automatically be aligned to what is being lased by the JTAC."
