QuiGon Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 With the introduction of the public bug tracker I want to take the opportunity to say how thankful I am for the continuous support of the MiG-21! From what I've gathered from the news updates it looks like the post-release support is quite demanding (DCSW2-release!) and caused some trouble on your roadmap, but I, as a customer, am very happy to see how much work still goes into the MiG-21. The transparency of the public bug tracker just adds to that. It also makes me even more confident to buy future LNS modules even though I have to wait a bit longer to get them. Keep it up! A happy customer 2 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
grunf Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 +1 Thanks for your hard work on the MiG-21, I hope you'll continue to support it for a long time, not just by squashing bugs but also with new features that may be missing at the moment. I'm also looking forward to the upcoming planes and maps!
HairyPOOnuggets Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 +2, IF F-14 is ANYTHING like Mig-21, Im going to be divorced. Only bought Mig-21 after the news about F-14, found out I was missing out on a superb sim. !!!
Wizard_03 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Yes thank you LN for all your hard work. Mig-21 is my favorite plane in DCS. DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Vivick Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Yes thank you LN for all your hard work. Mig-21 is my favorite plane in DCS. Same here, I'm very happy with LN as a publisher!
scaflight Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 And it's work that stands out compared to some other developers! I don't mean that in a snarky way, I simply mean that your products and your dedication and support mean I feel 100% more at ease purchasing something you've made than something someone else has made. :)
BlackLion213 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 +1 The incremental improvements have made a substantial impact on the overall experience. As good as the MiG-21 was last March (when I bought it), it is now much improved with upgraded flight dynamics, better 3D model, twice as many liveries (with beautifully done Tac numbers), and lots of bug fixes. I am very appreciative for the continued and very thorough support. I paid full price for the MiG-21 and it still feels like the it is the best value of anything I've bought for DCS. Thank you again for the hard work. This is building serious customer loyalty and confidence in the brand! -Nick
Hook47 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I won't lie guys, I spent the last few days cheating with the hot new French thing that's been all the rage, but last night I hopped back into my MiG cockpit and realized it is still the plane for me... Until the next LNS product ;) There is a lot of really good modules for this sim, but this bird tops them all without breaking a sweat! Thanks for all the work that went into the product, and that you will do in the future!
Dutchy93 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I agree with the guys in this thread. Leatherneck, you have produced one of the best simplanes that I know of. When I first heard of the MiG21 I saw it as an obsolete rustbucket, but after a short while it grew on me. Before long I was itching for the release of the module to finally fly the old gal. She is hard to fly, but if you treat her right she will fly beautifully. She is now my favorite plane in general. Thanks Leatherneck (and ED) for making this possible and for your continuous support towards us. Please forgive our occasional complaining and whining, we love you guys :smilewink:!
TomCatMucDe Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I can only associate myself with the OP. Despite the full busy pipeline, the 21 got a lot of love from LNS in 2015. Excellent after sale support! You could have said you aren't going to cash more on the mig than the new modules but no. Very professional LNS! I will buy your next modules whether I intend to fly them or not. Actually, I said the same thing about the 21 but I ended up flying it exclusively.
Hueyman Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 +1000 Such an awesome team with a Nice sense of how thing should be managed They doesn't take customers as feeders, and treat them respectfully, that's remarkable [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] CPL(A)IR ME/SEP/MEP/SET - CPL(H)
Muppetlord Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Indeed. Thank you for not leaving your "old" projects in the dust. Can't wait to try out your next couple of modules :)

CoBlue Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Agreed, thank you LN  i7 8700k@4.7, 1080ti, DDR4 32GB, 2x SSD , HD 2TB, W10, ASUS 27", TrackIr5, TMWH, X-56, GProR.
mpdugas Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) There are some 3rd party folks here who have made modules for DCSW who released their products without even training missions or documentation for their vehicles. And then there is LNS, who goes above and beyond in their support for their 'old' MiG-21, when any other 'modern' business would have just moved on already, leaving behind their 85%-complete product as 'good enough'. Oh yes, LNS can count on my purchase of the Tomcat as soon as they desire to put it in the store! I really can't wait!! Edited January 19, 2016 by mpdugas
