With this update 1.5.4 the trim stopped working on all aircraft. In soil it works on the instruments. But when it takes off. It has no effect on the aircraft.

I just checked and it's working totally fine here, I'm using the Saitek F.L.Y 5.

Try to delete the joystick Reg. Files.

Here and all my friends. Trim does not work. It has the animation on the aircraft. But does not affect the aircraft's behavior.

I have the same problem, and am using a CH Fighterstick, and CH Rudder Pedals. None of my devices have force feedback.

I wonder if this is related to the bug with the 1.54 update and changing controller settings. I get a black screen and crash every time I use the Options menu to add controller settings, and then click OK.

What log files do you need and where are they located?

Did you check to see if the tick box is checked in settings?

Rename the dcs openbeta folder in your saved games folder so the game makes a new one.

With the G27 off. The trim back to work. But always I used the G27 as pedals. If possible fix this bug. The solution is to connect the G27 when you're on the ground or in flight. Thank you!

I seem to have fixed both problems by deleting the file DCS.openbeta>Config>Options.lua

and then restarting the game.

For what it's worth, I have a trim problem with the Gazelle in 1.5.4 since today : I can't trim it right, I mean the trim right wind down doesn't work. The pitch trim axis does work though. Yesterday it worked too... Puzzling.

Ryzen 3600X - RTX 2080 - 32 GB Ram - DCS on SSD.

DCS Modules : M2K-C, F18-C, FW-190D, Huey, Gazelle, Black Shark, Mig-15, all maps.

Confirmed trim not working in KA50 too.

Confirmed fixed by unplugging my 2 other force feedback capable devices.

When I plugged the other devices back in live game...trim stopped working again.

It seems to me, does not work "off force feedback". Behaves like "On".
