Hey guys,

so I noticed that recently the new R4M and the other heavier rockets have been added and they work great. But I noticed, that if i pick rockets and a SC250/500 bomb, the rockets cant be launched, even after dropping the bomb. I also made sure several times, that the bomb control switch was set to Off(Aus) and the rockets switch is set to on. But as I said, if i dont equip a bomb, then it works great.

Now I wanted to know if the developers are aware of this problem/bug and are they gonna fix it?

thanks in advance!

as long as you can only have bombs OR rockets, the rockets are rather useless, exept you are good at shooting the r4m at unarmored the targets accurately

Timed fuses don't help, though we've been told they would be changed to correct impact ones at some point in the future. So right now, as EK said, they're more of a gimmick rather than an efficient weapon, but they might evolve into something useful in next game updates.

I confirm, as long as one mounts bombs, the rockets don't work, regardless

if the bombs are on on or off position, or regardless if the bombs are away or not.

As soon as one DOES NOT MOUNT BOMBS in the ME, then both types of rockets work

just fine. This must be a bug.... ! ?

You can load bombs and rockets the same, but you use your bombs first, and once you dropped them, to make sure, pull the "Rumpflast" handle, then set bombs off and rockets on and then you can use the rockets, then they work

I forgot, in 2.04 with Nevada.

Hi, thanks, but even doing all that, the rockets won't fire, at least in 2.0.4 Nevada......

Last time I tested it only works when using the 4x SC50 loadout. With the SC 250 (or 500? can't remember haven't flown in a few weeks) you cannot jettison the bomb rack, therefore you can't 'switch' over to the rockets.

Also here. Rockets won't fire if one loads the SC-500,

also after pulling the "Rumpflast" handle (Jettison).

Re-Confirmed. Rockets won't fire if one loads the SC-500, drop the bomb, and pull the "Rumpflast" handle (Jettison).

BUT! Rockets fire OK if one loads the 4XSC50, but ONLY

after dropping all 4 bombs AND AFTER pulling the "Rumpflast" handle (Jettison).

Must be a bug, because it makes no sense. A word from acknowledgement from the developers would be greatly appreciated.......

Well it's because the pylon from the big bomb can't be jettisoned. I assume the signal from the weapon release switch defaults to the bomb rack and then goes to the wing stations if there is no rack there. Not sure if this is how it worked irl. Tbh would imagine it was a a switch set when loading the aircraft on the ground and therefore only one or the other could be used but like o said not sure.
