Hello everyone!

I am excited to share some great news with all of you. I just got word the other day from ED that they will be splitting the campaign into separate entities, allowing owners of just one of the two aircraft to purchase the campaign. No longer will you be required to have to own both the MiG-15 and F-86 to play.

There will be some coding work that has to be done, and also a revamp to the store page. So I do not have either a time frame of release OR a price point. We'll be working out the details to see if there will be 3 purchase options. 1) a MiG-15 only 2) an F-86 only 3) a bundle of them together [like it is now]. However, I don't have any further details at the moment, so this is all speculation. What is certain though, is that it will be happening; that you only need to own one of the two platforms to have access to "The Museum Relic" campaign.

I appreciate everyone's patience in the matter. And for those of you who may have purchased the other of the two aircraft to gain access to this campaign, I can't thank you enough. Your willingness and support, of all the dev's involved, to play this campaign are very much appreciated. As there is the Autumn sale going on in full swing right now, you certainly can't go wrong with picking up the other plane. Belsimtek did a fantastic job with their modeling of these aircraft. They are an absolute blast to fly!

Thanks everyone, for your support thus far.

Great news! I just wrapped up mission 8 and still having a great time. Very nice to bring the Sabre to life like this. I might even dust off the MiG after a while and play through with that. Very nice to know that more people will be able to play the campaign soon! You all did a great job on it.

Where is this stated? I only own the F86 and I don't have the option to buy the campaign module? I love DCS and it's modules, but I truly find incredulous to have to spend $100 USD on aircraft just to fly the F-86 Campaign.

In case you missed the posts about the initial problems with the release, here it is: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2868741&postcount=18

Where is this stated?

It has only been stated on this thread. ED has confirmed with me that they would split the campaign. I've submitted all the files, and it is ready to go, but there is a bit work behind the scenes that they need to do in order to implement it.

As you can see, they've been rather busy with other things. (F-5, Spitfire, Viggen, Normandy, NTTR updates, etc.) So when this went into the que line, it was rather far down.

Just as you, I hope that this will hit the market sooner rather than later.

Thanks for checking up on it though!

Thank you for the reply, please don't let my abruptness come across as anything other than frustration! I'm very much looking forward to the campaign, it looks fantastic.

Much to my surprise (pleasantly!), today I could download the Museum Relic Campaign, owning only the F-86 module! Thanks DCS and Apache600 :)

Seriously!?!? .... this is news to me. Can I ask if you've been able to take it a step further and actually start the campaign?

I've been able to access the briefing and the mission planner and successfully started the 1st Mission! :)

From todays newsletter:

The Museum Relic Campaign News

Due to popular demand, we are removing the requirement that both DCS: F-86F Sabre and DCS: MiG-15bis must be purchased in order to play this campaign. We are changing this requirement such that only one of these aircraft modules must be purchased to play this campaign.

No I can finally enjoy this campaign as well. Thanks for making this possible! :)

Thank you ED, for being able to split the campaign!

And also, thank you community members and backers for your continued drive and support, as well as your patience, to seeing that this happened!
