Thank you Andre for the prompt response. I followed your recommended instrunctions. I got the USB buzz sound from windows when I pressed the game and sound mode buttons on the control . No luck yet but I have the text file generated when I ran the Firmware reload kit attached here. I cannot understand what the letters means. Can you help take a look? -Sledgehammer- Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) i recently updated to ssa 2.9 and ran the windows update and hurray nothing works, the seat (hf8) cannot be connected and there is windows .net framework error message. god dammit. recently it feels like im just waiting updating all the time instead of playing. it‘s becoming so frustrating playing dcs. ACG_Dickie Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) Hi, I originally installed the Beta, v2.8.7 but I want to upgrade to v2.9.0 which is the latest release. The installs are fine, they are in different directories, but I have configured SSA Beta for DCS already to how I want it, and it works. When I run SSA latest it's default and there is no configuration (obviously) How do I bring across all of the config easily? Is there a file I can just copy over?? Going to need more detail on that if you are after a fix. I would be running the .net framework install again myself though, from the sounds of it this sounds like a Windows issue not a SS4A issue though. .net framework is generic. VampireNZ Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Noticed a small issue with SSA and the JetSeat. After taking off the Ground Bumps and Ground Roll effects continue while flying. Happened so far in Viper and Apache. The effects are quite strong as I assume it is taking your speed into consideration? I can stop it by unchecking the appropriate boxes in the Effect Settings list, but will start again when re-enabled. So I just close SSA and re-open it entirely in flight and it works fine again. Is quite rare it happens and not sure what might be causing it - just normal takeoffs. Using Ver. 2.9.0.0. Edited February 5 by VampireNZ Vampire

I've tried uninstalling and everything. not sure what to do. Even tried the beta build, same thing. Anyone else come across this? Also i don't know where the log file is located. I looked in the installation folder but nothing says log file. There is a nlog and other simular files. It looks like starting NLR HFS software first paves the way for another application. Finally I've got them both working with Win 11 24H2 update.
