Does anyone understand the "... only a while." in the changelog? What is "only a while" ? o_O

DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart

PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013

DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.)

Dell Visor VR headset, Ryzen 5 5600 (6C/12T), RTX 4060 - basic DCS-community rule-of-thumb: Don't believe bad things that a PvP pilot claims about another PvP pilot without having analyzed the existing evidence

TS is for chatting, it's synonymous with gaming. SRS is for immersive communication. They are incomparable, it's apples to oranges, I've done the whisper key, multi channel, multi TS instance crap before and it's in no way better, it's a nightmare. As soon as you get to 20 people in one channel, some idiot has to have verbal diarrhoea all over the place or sniffs or coughs or needs to tewll you what he had for breakfast and reduce one channel into a massive denial of service attack that turns the majority off. I'll do anything to escape that. Including using the text window.

Well said. And to add you just can't do what some radio mods are doing. Just checkout what they do in the Arma community with radio mods. Just to name a few things you can't do with TS. Like terrain interfering with comms. Also different radios have different ranges. Directional speaking in 3D space. The list goes on.

How is the Viggen going to work in Blue Flag, are we Viggen pilots going to have to pick a target and manually punch in the waypoint so we can use our nav system and all it's bells and whistles?

They could either be done in ME to all the targets airfields or farps or punched in manually using lat longs, Its strike aircraft already knowing where the target is and the info to pre made waypoints would be best IMHO

I'd rather have to manually punch in my waypoints tbh. Rather than having several target waypoints to every nearby target

Same here. Pre-made waypoints for each target would mess up the flight plan (and stuff like fuel calculations) and would require the pilot to get rid of them somehow.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Doesn't the Viggen only have like 11 waypoints anyway? (Takeoff, Landing and waypoints). Would be nice if we could plot a course while the engine is off, but I guess manual entry isn't too bad.

I mean the Viggen has all Airfields stored already anyway.

No need to add waypoints for that.

For FARPs, dunno most are close enough to cities with corresponding reference points already.

No need for any additional waypoints imho.

*unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?

It's fine for FARPs, the interactive map gives you lat long coordinates for them

LOL how nobody in this forum understands the English changelog "... only a while ..." written by the Russian developer... -.- Or is any Russian here who understands the wrong RU-EN translation and can explain?

The Viggen will be great and easy. You have no alignment time, you can fetch coords from any interactive map and as my learned Swedish friend says:

1. CK mode REF/LOLA Input

2. Punch in longitude.

3. Punch in latitude (Six digits each, twelve in total, no buttonpress between the two).

4. Press B1-9

Done.

Mirage drivers will still be flaling about with Horizon Secours!!!!

How is the Viggen going to work in Blue Flag, are we Viggen pilots going to have to pick a target and manually punch in the waypoint so we can use our nav system and all it's bells and whistles?

Server is not visible... some are playing on it according to the app. Is it because of the update?

I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A,

Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least

It seems to be running 1.5.6 as of an hour ago.

However, the update did brake weapons on the mirage (can only select magic's, no eclair, no 530, no external tank).

Mission probably needs to be re-saved with the new version.

I can confirm this, weapons work on other servers that probably did the re-save thing.
