Must congratulate the ED from the modeling details. If they can get the few animations working well with all the infantry, things gets very very nice.

- Walking

- Kneeling/sneaking

- Crawling/laying down

- Running

And then of course all those with two modes, neutral and firing.

So when you are in CA or in helicopter, you can see those from close, and then of course when using high optical magnification levels.

Then all other animations I can see not needed, like mounting/unmounting vehicles, teleporting them to just outside of the doors is enough (IMHO) so when you unload infantry from helicopters they would just drop from the door as kneeling and then start moving or take a stance.

But with that texture detail and model, it is great! Now the same for the ground crew and people going on airports and it would become nice looking to taxi out/in.

hmmm - looking at that model it makes me hopeful that we will indeed see Afghanistan offered to the public... Isn't that garb a pretty specific/regional attire typically seen in Pakistan/Eastern Afghanistan?

edit: yeah - its called a "Pakol" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakol

Nice find, the animation is awesome compared to what we had before. Hope the whole infantry element gets this fix for 2.5:)

Yup, you got that right.

And I've been sniffin' around for more since I found this. I mean just check the Mission Editor...there's a LOT of new countries now. I mean Honduras, man! How about that? Of course it might mean nothing as well but if the map editor was released, we'd have a DCS World pretty soon.

Just give me a few ground personnel I can place around the airbase an I would be happy. :)

Maybe be able to set triggers to their animations in the mission editor. Even just a simple raise their hand ....getting carried away here.
