But you know F-16 was probably made by ED years ago?

The problem is, Lockheed Martin probably don't want to sell ED a license for Falcon for some reason, that's why we don't have it in DCS. 2nd option is, Lockheed is PROBABLY using F-16 module as a simulator for adepts. But you know, it's only my speculations, fantasies and theories :)

P.S I forgot about Mi-24 which was probably made at the same time as the F-16 in the link above.

Of the two planes in the poll: I prefer a MiG-29 (preferebly K/carrier capable since we will get the Russian carrier by ED in the future). I agree with those who want an adversary to our more modern western jets in DCS).

Concerning the Viper. I think there is a very good sim out there: BMS 4.33 U2 with a great model, dynamic campaign and several intersesting theaters/maps. For me thats enough (for now) and I prefer ED/third parties choose (for now) other planes than the F-16 in the near future.

Personally I really want an F-4 Phantom as a first step towards recreation of the Vietnam war. But thats only me..

You should start this topic in russian language forum and I'm sure that u will get results towards Mig 29. Especially if you see the future in multiplayer gaming, russian community will choose Mig 29 as potential competitors in combat. On the other hand, for today DCS addons became too expensive on the Russian market, so u can get not too many players.

after f-18, we need to see features, developments before new planes

FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15EF-4| Tornado

Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60

Why not upgrade FC3 to all other modules standard (fully clickable) and there you go, with fully clickable MiG-29s, Su-25/25T/27/33. At least 5 "new" aircrafts. Of course if someone prefer FC3 standard as it is right now, he should have a possibility to have it as it is.

That would be ideal, but ED has said before that getting and using information on Russian aircraft can be difficult.

I would prefer a MiG-29.

The Hornet and Falcon share a LOT of weapons and capabilities, but they're two completely different aircraft and would take similar amounts of time to develop.

I love the Fulcrum despite the fact that I know nearly nothing about it. I think it's the looks...

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

More and more occidental airframes are coming to the game, we need to populate REDFOR as well :)

It's such an iconic aircraft, too. I got engaged to Flanker back in the day because i knew nothing about the aircraft. It was not your typical american propaganda sim, and even though they are magnificient aircraft, i like the taste of something different, less stereotypical, more challenging.

The moment you enter the cockpit of a russian aircraft you see a different methodology, a different way to think the same concepts. I have seen this on the Tu-154 for FSX, and here Mig-21, Mi-8, etc.

However, there is something about the Fulcrum. It looks threatening, it's one of the most beautiful fighters ever and as i said, it is iconic.

Even though a Falcon would be a great adition i don't see the BMS crowd migrating for good until there is a dynamic campaign tbh.

Also even though i have FC3 i don't play it since DCS became a thing. I am all up for study sim and fidelity simulators.
