Pheonix0869
Just noticed that tacview released the beta for the Real-time telemetry for DCS World. This would enhance the stream, that I plan on watching regardless. I'm sure you guys knew this, but i figured I would leave this here regardless. http://www.tacview.net/download/beta/en/
FLANKERATOR
Thanks for the support, guys! Yes, Tacview has come up lately with a bunch of great new features that are all worth considering, not sure there is enough time to test that out for this Saturday matchup though. If all goes well, we may well get an epic fight given the calibre of contestants taking part this time around. See you on Twitch! 1 Situational Awareness: https://sa-sim.com/ | The Air Combat Dojo: https://discord.gg/Rz77eFj
Hook47
Hey fellas! Two pieces of news from me- as always, huge thanks to Flankerator for the flawlessly executed registration process! All contestants should have recieved the Acceptance Letter, so please make sure to read that soon! Regarding Tacview- I am assessing it's new features and the possibility of using it as soon as round 4, but I can't promise it yet! Fingers crossed! rel4y
That was the most intense grudge match so for. But then again I am a WWII nut. DefaultFace
Some of the most stressful flying ever :O But tons of fun. Thanks to Flankernator, Hook and eekz as well as ED for a great event, and great flying by all sides. 9./JG27 "If you can't hit anything, it's because you suck. Solty
Hey! It was fun guys. :) Congrats to the winners. PS. I watched the stream. The landing gear was a glitch when I fought Saburo. But I did try to drop my gear (I don't know if I managed to do that, it might have been damaged at that point and not deploy...) when my prop-govenor was hit after DarkRaiders attacked me on my way back. I think it must have been a glitch when I fought Saburo. Anyway, great fight people. Thx to the organizers for a great ride :D Edited February 20, 2017 by Solty [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]In 21st century there is only war and ponies. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 18, 2017 ED Team Share Posted February 18, 2017 thanks for the info salty, the gear can look like it is down for spectators if it has taken damage between an up or down state, it is a net phantom and ED are aware of it. anyway great flying, very enjoyable. zaelu
Me and my squad mates enjoyed watching like a TV Match the GM4. Overall a good match and a victory for LW we used to fly in old Il-2 wars. :) Some small points for future events. - A tacview track with delay and after the event the full track would be nice. - Ground targets should be somehow made more "juicy" but harder to crack. More points for them so they will attract more the teams. More defense for them even if defenses would not count points. Example. 1 bunker (that would require a bomb hit hence an attacker protected from above) protected by AAA. The ground targets last night felt that they were just some sure points to obtain whenever possible. - Scoring should be kept by someone that is not commenting or simply "scripted" into the match by ME... easy job with flags and messages. -Camera Work should be a bit more profi. Change at the start of the match the external FOV by pressing RCtrl+Num* then move out by mouse wheel. Not much but enough to add some realism/drama to your view point and also to increase visibility for viewers. Use without fear F3, F4 and LCtrl+F4 camera. Move the mouse around more with the viewers perspective in mind than action seeking. also Please... Saburo is not Subaru :D :megalol: Sa-Bu-Ro. Like "Sa-n Diego" Bu-enos Aires and Ro-cinante. :P Best regards and we are looking forward for next one! FLANKERATOR
Hey guys, sorry for the delay in publishing this - I've had very little spare time lately. Many thanks to DefaultFace and DarkRaiderss for their help in piecing the ACMI puzzle back together. Hats off to both teams for a great fight and congratulations to Luftwaffe's brave pilots for their incredible comeback after they had been down for 3 quarters of the match! I personally think this was the closest white knucker of the entire series so far! Congratulations also to 'rel4y', our betting contest winner who will walk away with any WWII module of his choice! Thanks again to our sponsor Eagle Dynamics, our host Burning Skies and our special guest Grmlz. Here is the link where you can check the After Action Report and watch on demand the great video of the match commented and put together by Hook. http://sa-sim.com/grudge-match-4-after-action-report/ See you in GM5!
