*hint, hint, hint*:D

oh, and some more suggestions: more Polys on Nose and on the back top where the Fuselage starts to make it look more round, this would be great!

btw guys, walmis was looking for the hydraulic arm that attaches to the canopy, if anyone could provide some closeup pictures that would be nice. Its the one that sits near the middle behind the seat inside the canopy.

Another suggestion: The Wings seem to be without any Profile at the moment, look at the Wingtip of the following Pic:

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1137086/L/

The Wingtip is kinda more curved forward-downwards than in the Model. Perhaps anyone finds better Pics to demonstrate

Edit: These shows the wing "Twist" that i mean nicely

Ooh, I know what lomac has been missing in sound effects, doppler afterburners, that ripping sound the F-16 makes in full ab, well, who knows a mod?

Any good, 1.12a compatible, and relistic sound packs out there?

Dontchya mean the F-15

I agree, however, what would be even more impressive would be holographic sound. What is needed is someone to be wearing a microphone over each ear, and go out and stand around F-15's at Start up, idle, taxi, take off, AB take-off, landing and shut down.

I'm sure someone could do it, provided they have the right contacts. But the problem is, the F-15's engines are also more felt than heard, something that is difficult, if not impossible to replicate.

errr... I don't think you'd be able to get someone to stand behind any jet aircraft while its engines are running :D and with afterburners on!? How in the world would you get the close up sound from that perspective ????

Actually, you can get pretty close to a running F-15 , especially at airshows. At a local Air show/ open house, a F-15B was started, engines facing the crowd, only about 60 or so feet away. You felt some pressure, but not a whole lot more. What you CAN sub for "being right behind" is being near last chance when a F-15 does a full AB take-off, you'll get a very accurate sound.

anomaly

Ok,

I know Walmis is very busy, so I will ask the masses. My inquiry refers to my post on page 31 of this thread (see photo). I have this dark portion under the right wing; I have uninstalled and reinstalled the file many times. At first I thought this anomaly might be due to a lighting affect or maybe some residual skin code or conflicting code in Loman. So again I uninstalled the file to include all mods in Loman then reinstalled the F-15 file with no mods and again the same anomaly. It appears on every skin that is included with the file (even the black 169th pattern) and appears on all mod skins (the only mod skin I use is the 44th skin). Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome

Nice job on the latest update Walmis! I love the new intake and engine textures as well as the new antennas on the nose, but i hope you also fix this misaligned poly bug on the nose with the next update? I am not sure if you have slightly corrected it, so i have attached a screenshot of what it currently looks like.

Ggreat job Walmis! ow the nose looks as it should look ;) Now, there is only one visual "anomalie" left, which really sticks out. It's the shape of the cockpit glass, which doesn't fit to the shape of the canopy frame. I have attached 2 shots, to show you the areas i mean, although i guess you already know that, as it's your baby heh. ;) I wonder why the canopy glass seems to be perfectly round, whereas the canopy frames have a much lower poly count.
