I think the Su-33 is by far one of the most neglected planes in all of DCS. Can maybe one or two new anti ship missiles be added for the Su-33 in the near future like maybe the P-270 Moskit?

There are so many missiles and models just lying around in DCS that go completely untouched. Why not put them to some good use?

Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick:

ED pls gib A-4 and F-4

If the real deal don't use it then the in game don't use it....

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

IIRC the Su-33 actually had anti-ship-missiles in early DCS versions (and LOMAC?), but they have been removed, because it doesn't use such missiles IRL.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

That missile use has fictional on Lomac, the real Su-33 has none anti-ship or air to ground missile integrated into the systems. ED only has get the "real" capabilities of the Su-33 on the Russian Navy.

I support the idea of only modeling correct weapons usage IRL.

But out of curiosity: Can the current DCS Su24 or Tu22M AI Units actually shoot Anti ship Missiles ? at least the Tu22M for sure should be able to do it IRL, so...

The Tu-22M3 can carry AS-4N, the Su-24M carry the Kh-31A antiship missiles, and shot them into DCS: W. Others russian aircrafts with antiship misiles capability has the Su-25TM and Su-30 (Kh-31A and Kh-35)and Su-34 and Tu-142 (Kh-31A). Others aircrafts has air to ground missiles to use as antiship role.

For fact, A-10C can target and sink Molnya and Grisha with AGM-65G. Smaller AGM-65 will damage ships, but won't sink them. Anything bigger then a Grisha, will not be sunk by 65G and will likely shoot down A-10. In my trial, I have sunk Elnya replenishment ship with AGM-65G, MK-82 bombs, and a really long cannon burst.
