KansasCS Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I would like to see a comprehensive and complete overhaul of all currently used missiles in DCS, particularly concerning standarization across modules. MiG21 IR missiles perform differently than their FC3 counterparts, pending a patch by Leatherneck. Also, proximity fuzing needs to happen for those missiles that have it in real life. Jets being grazed by missiles unharmed is outrageous. Lastly,the AIM120C seems poorly modeled. Below is a video demonstrating the problem. Thanks! :) Edit: I just read the rules and noticed that line concerning 'other software'. However, I hope in this case the mods can maybe let it slide, seeing as it pertains to a specific problem at hand, being the missile characteristics and the video demonstrates it like no other. Or just a slow going process by design/as expected? This is a HUGE miss currently for DCS, so it's good to have it reiterated that this is a top priority. All the pretty graphics in the world can't mask the fact that A/A combat is grossly broken in DCS' current state. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1st, this is a little rude starting out with the bad hire comment... 2nd, missiles need lots of a love, but they want to do it in a way that makes them better going forward and when adding new ones. Its not just telling DCS how a missile acts, they need to research info, gather it up, then convert it into what DCS will understand, and tune it to work right. I know there are mods to make them "better" but I think we all expect ED to do more than just mod them, we want a quality fix, and that is what they are working on.
