I'm wondering about the sales too.

I think the Normandy map looks gorgeous but its bad rep regarding its poor performance makes it a no go for me. If Normandy could benefit from Speedtree then I'll probably buy it, but if there is not enough sales I don't think it will be cost effective for ED to invest time and ressources. Well, the snake biting its own tail.

Or, if they invest the time and money, they will get it back as many more people will buy it. The high computational costs of trees and hedges is really holding Normandy back at the moment, and probably the sales thereof.

Well, as long as it releases before 31st Jan 23:59 2018 (UTC-12), Wags/ED will have kept their promise of the end of Jan.

If they're late we all get a free module.

Bit like pizza delivery.

Will it be a release version or just an alpha or beta?

31st is a Wednesday so if they go back to updates on Wednesday like they said last June but never stuck to it may actually be the very last day of Jan.
