Reflected
Excellent, can't wait to try. When I installed it via JSGME, it said many files have been altered by the P-51 mod already. Is this OK? Will it still work properly? Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Coxy_99
Jafa it does clash with the P-51 mod sound pack certain files does that matter or just overwrite?
jafa
You can only use one or the other if you want to hear the sound as I designed them , this due to the spitfire and mustang sharing a lot of the files , this is how ED has designed it to work not me. This is a stand alone sound mod not just the P51 sound transferred to the spitfire. Cheers Jafa [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Reflected
It's just as good, if not better, than the P-51 sound mod. It's a real pity one can only use one of them at a time. I know it's not your fault Jafa, but it's the design of the game. Great job, nonetheless, this is the best Spitfire sound I've ever heard in a sim. REDEYE_CVW-66
If you use the P-51 and overlap the Spit sound, giving the spit priority, both of them sound totally ace. Did not notice any problems with either.

REDEYE_CVW-66
I do the P-51 first. For all I know, it might be the other way around. Feel free to test, all sounds great this way though in both A/C.

Art-J
First glance on the list of conflicting files indicates most of them are external sounds related, are they not? So unless one spends lots of time watching fly-bys / virtual airshows, we can live with one mod partially overwriting and messing up the other. As long as cockpit sounds work OK, I can live with such a compromise. As for the mod, it's lovely for a beta, but I hope Jafa you intend to bring the electric starter whine back at some point, as it's very prominent on the real thing and sorely missing now :D. REDEYE_CVW-66
How do you guys recommend setting the audio sliders. As of right now, my wind rushing noise is VERY loud, to the point of drowning out the engine growl, even when 'sound as headphones' ticked off and the canopy closed. Reflected
I've taken my Spit for countless rides since I installed this mod, and it amazes me every single time how realistic it sounds now.
