I have been spoiled by all of the great videos from Wags...I hope that this isn't what Heatblur had in mind for the videos they would be releasing in March.

It is the HB Tomcat.

It's just the placeholder graphics and sound, etc.

I find it funny that the placeholder graphics are roughly the same quality, or maybe a little better than the Aerosoft F-14.

They're not. This was just an off the cuff, spur of the moment demonstration.

Thanks for the video! Personally, I prefer these informal game-play update videos over the highly produced marketing ones. Please keep em' coming!

The most interesting part in the video was the HUD's refresh rate. Definitely lower compared to more modern aircraft - looks super realistic, this is great!

You see Cobra, we are simple people, we don’t need fancy staged videos. Throw any gameplay at us and our jaws will drop

I didn't even know this was a thing (loft bombing in the 14) With the GBU 12, this could really decimate some mud out there!! Thanks for the share we DO appreciate it quite a bit!

Yeah, hell, I'm still P3D-Happy with the placeholder graphics.

I love any video of this project, placeholder graphics or not. I'm most interested in seeing how it flies.

Dear All,

. You should expect with great certainty for these to start dropping sometime in March. There is a
ton
to cover!

Fret not over the lull in updates - in this particular moment - silence is golden. :)

As always, thank you for the support!

I don't know why people are getting their "panties in such a twist" at the moment. The updates will come when they come. I'm anxious to see, read and hear more about the status of the Tomcat.

If one person posts a question about if a date is still valid - cool. When multiple people start arguing and acting like they were promised something on these forums and others - well now you are just being silly.

Take a deep breath, go outside and just do something. Heatblur will post updates when they have things "put together" in a manner in which they are ready to show it.

I don't think you quite understand why there is such a focus on this topic and why people "are getting their panties in such a twist". If it wasn't stated that - "You should expect with great certainty for these to start dropping sometime in March." - I don't think many of us would have even a slight problem with the date of the next update. It's just that it's only natural that when something should be expected in a timeframe, that being March for us, you can feel almost let down when it does not arrive. Now while I certainly agree with you that there is no need to cause a great fuss over it. I also agree that Heatblur will and should post updates when they're ready to do so, but maybe it would put less pressure on them by not putting timeframes on said updates.
