Mouse_99 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I have set up a couple of simple missions and my F-18 seems to switch waypoints 5 miles before it gets to the actual waypoint. Is this a bug, or is it supposed to be this way? My Mirage will switch waypoints at 1.5 miles and that's reasonable, but 5.o miles is a bit excessively early. It does this all the time and in some missions, only on the second waypoint and the rest are right at the way point, so I'm not sure what is going on.

Frederf Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Right, waypoint is looking for "3-9 line" passage, i.e. closure component reversing sign from + to -. Waypoint will advance on closure positive-negative flip at ranges up to 5nm.
Revientor Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Auto Waypoint cicle when manual back When you have auto mode on and you are near wp2 for example, the system jumps to wy 3, but in that moment you change back the waypointmanually to wp2, the system jumps this time to wp 3, you go back again to wp 2 and the system change to wp4... here the video->

TomCatMucDe Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 [MISSING TRACK FILE] Waypoint Auto Mode I noticed that if you set auto when you are flying over waypoint, it will increment starting from 0 and not from the selected point. Example: After take off, fly until waypoint 3, every time you fly over increment manually until waypoint 2. Then enable Auto waypoint increment. The system will start incrementing from 0 to 1 and not from 2 to 3.
