Could the above issue (missing rotary night lighting) be fixed by somebody as a texture mod or does it need to be worked on my ED?

Could the above issue (missing rotary night lighting) be fixed by somebody as a texture mod or does it need to be worked on my ED?

I tried a quick fix by changing the Alpha channel in the textures, but the light through them came out yellow/white (like the flood light) instead of green, and the whole thing looked a little weird as well, so I gave up on it.

Knobs ntegral light.

There are several rotary knobs that do not illuminate internally.

On the old skeletons in the closet no one answered, in the cockpit still don't work correctly mirrors.

It has been two years since the release of the Hornet. The advent of the Supercarrier would have rear-view mirrors could use. Thank you for the answer.

Bump. Can we please bring some attention to some of the issues here? Most things here have been reported since launch.

One thing that should definitely be considered high priority is to fix the DDI font. It's not on the actual displays, but on the glass in front of them. That creates all sorts of visual issues, such as letters showing above the reflection effect and the recent lighting update only made those issues more noticeable. Can we at least get that one fixed soon, please?

Hi. The press animation on the joystick for the paddle switch and undesignate/steering mode buttons are inverted.

When using Track IR or VR to move your head, there will be a "non-transparent bar" that block some important HUD indications or texts. Especially when your view angle in cockpit is high. Sometimes, for example during landing, even the FPV can be blocked at a specific angle.

So, are we to assume that the Hornet will leave Early Access with all of these errors left not addressed?

Is a new cockpit planned that will maybe fix these issues as well? Maybe to bring the Hornet on par with the Viper, for example, since the current cockpit looks rather old, at this point.

Red and yellow on AoA indexer are swapped. It's correct color when it lights up though. Weird. Red light lights up yellow and yellow light lights up red. Anyway, On-speed shouldn't be red

@BIGNEWYSome progress from some of these graphical errors? One of those I'm waiting to see solved is the missing textures of both rocket engines for ejection of the canopy reported by @luft please some info its wellcome, thanks.

@BIGNEWY@Eagle DynamicsI have been working on the lost texture of the cylinders of the dome separation rockets, I think the result is pretty good, it has Normal map and roughtmet as well as the main texture, the only thing that is not correct are the texts of the stickers that are generic and provisional, I have not found information about the text of each of them, I would appreciate a little help from the community to put the original texts and perhaps if ED approves it, it can be implemented once and for all.

 

*note : when texturing this piece I noticed that the cylinder on the left side of the dome has a mirror effect and the text looks upside down.

 

 

please tell me what it looks like, thanks.

I have finished the painting works and actually the piece is a replica of the original, I have been able to access to photos of the original piece in the spanish hornet, this is the result:

 

If @Eagle Dynamics accepts it for inclusion in the F/A-18C hornet module as standard I will be happy to share it.
