Situation:

 

The town of Ispravnaya at GJ08 is where the bullseye for both coalitions is (check out the image below). 12 Red BMP-2's start 6 km south of bullseye, while 12 Blue Bradley's start 6 km north of bullseye. The helicopters bases of both coalitions are 20 km away from the town of Ispravnaya. Attacking the enemy's base is allowed. However, AAA's are expected to be there and that's not the goal of this operation.

Each coalition seeks to capture and hold the town at all costs. To do so, the available APC's will have to move into the town and fight off the enemy's APC's. The battle ends by either destroying the enemy's forces or him retreating to save whatever remaining units he has left.

- Spring, clouds, fog, mission's time: 0815.

- 12 BMP-2's and 4 Mi-8's against 12 Bradley's and 4 UH-1's. All controlled by players. No AI.

- Each side has 4 ammo trucks that only GCI can move around. They are parked next to the BMP-2's/Bradley's at mission start.

- If not enough players sign up, the uncontrolled units can be controlled by the players who lose their Helicopter/APC.

- Each player has 1 life.

- Each coalition must have a GCI operator. I will be GCI for one of the coalitions, but someone will have to sign up as well, otherwise the whole thing is not taking place.

- You don't need LotAtc for GCI, only Combined Arms, but you can use it.

 

 

Sign Up's:

 

You can sign up yourself only, unless you want to sign up members of your squadron, then feel free to sign up yourself, plus up to 3 other players from your squadron.



Use the following format:

If you're signing up yourself and squadron members as well, use this:

Training Mission:

 

You have 4 unarmed targets on your 12 o'clock.

The F-10 map shows you all units.

Each target has the name of its distance from your APC:

500m, 1000m, 1500m and 2000m.

 

Once you have destroyed all 4 targets, a helicopter will approach you from your 1 or 2 o'clock starting at a range of 3.5 km.

 

Use this training mission to get better at firing your weapons in the BMP-2/Bradley.

Those won't need to be player controlled, and also it would be nice if each side had a few anti air units to try and protect their reload trucks.

All 4 Mi-8's are taken. You're on the reserve list though. However, I don't think the ECV56 guys wont show up. They always do. BMP-2 instead? Or UH-1?

Update:

 

 

As you know, 12 APC's are available for each side.

So far 6 players signed up for the BMP-2's and all Mi-8's are taken. Wouldn't mind if it stays like that. That gives each BMP-2 driver another vehicle to drive once he loses his first one.

 

Therefore I'd rather have 2 more players signing up for the Bradley's to get a total of 6 players, and 3 more for the Huey to fill the slots. Only after that the remaining slots for APC's on both sides will be once again available for other sign up's. Balance is critical here.
