Do not use the "DCS VR Shaders mod for 2.7.9.17830", it is not supported anymore. Instead use the "Simplex" version of it (as written in first post).

To test, just replace the d3dx.ini in the game installation (where dcs.exe is) by the one joined here.

I'll add the fix in the next mod release (I want to add also a control for NVG grain).

Loving 14.0.  How do you change the noise in the NVG's?  Right now it seems like its off (which is something I was struggling trying to modify Kegety's mod to try and get...couldnt stop getting hot pixels that just increased as time went on to where the NVG's were useless), but I'd like to mess around with how much I want to have or if I just like it with no noise at all.

windows protects the program files directories with a virtual file system, that throws away changes made to it, this protects against malware, as a result most modern programs make changes in the user space away from program files, either saved games or app data what have you.   as a result if DCS is in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS any changes made are lost after the session finishes.  

To get around this install DCS into C:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS  or similar and then it should work fine.

if you don't have MSAA turned on, then FXAA will help with some of the Jaggies

There is an issue with a shader cache, so the menu option is hidden, I'll post a new version soon.

So every time I start a mission it tells me that there are conflicting shader presets. I uninstalled all mods and even did a repair on the game and the issue is still there. I also can not adjust any setting like NVGs which I'm assuming is an issue from the shader issue. It states its an issue in the ShaderFixes folder.

Did you remove all the files and directories after uninstalling the mod ? Especially shaderfixes and d3dx.ini.

There is no effect to do a repair as the mod is not part of DCS files.

Is it me or does it take a long time for textures to load into now with this mod? Seems like since I installed this mod, every time I load in it takes about 5 minutes every time...not just at first.

Hello. There should not be any link with texture. By default, shaders modified in 3dmigoto mod are compiled at each 3dmigoto initialisation (that is at each game lauch). But, as I used the "cache" option (that's why there are .bin files with the txt files) this compilation is not needed. So that's strange to have this big launch time. I dis not notice it (but I put DCS on an SSD).
