So you should try to do a full repair as explained in troubleshooting guide of first post and check again.

The sharpening effect does not work, someone else happens to it. In fact I see only one option for interior cockpit and luma sharpening, I don't see another option for exterior or general sharpening.

I managed to get the sharpening to work by modifying the .ini directly without going through the configuration interface. What I do see is that adding sharpering also applies it to the hud and it starts to flicker. Is there any way to avoid that? with the reshader when applying the sharpering it does not modify the hud.

Last update of open beta.. Migoto loaded will make the screen in 3D world to be white. Unloading it will make crash DCS world. Don't know how to make it work again.

How dis you remove the mod ? Is d3d11.dll still in the folder where dcs.exe is ?

The mod is not modifying any game file. As soon as d3d11.dll is removed there is no more link between the game and the mod, so ifyou still have issue it should be linked to something else, another mod maybe. In this case do a full repair.

I managed to make it work without migoto.. and it is migoto the problem to appear white the screen in VR or in monitor mode. If I remove it then everything is correct. Don't know if other people has the same problem.

edit: it is not totally white. You can see some lines of the 3D so it is like over exposed everything. With last verson of Migoto tested.

The new beta break the mod, all features based on masking are down and a white screen is diplayed when in MSAA and sharpen is on. As a first workaround, disable sharpen.

I already fixed the masking, but I am still trying to understand the white screen...

it is not totally a white screen. It is like a line cartoon rendering of 3D border lines without any color. Just white. It is more clearly visible in VR than in monitor. So it is as an oversposed brighness thing

Guys for me the same problem after last beta update DCS 2.7.18.30348 Open Beta mod Sharpness+FXAA is broken  all screen is white, only menu window work same as before, try reinstall mode nothing change, mod work only if you turn off Sharpness option, hope this will be fixes soon, because this is most option what I need from this mode.

With more sharpness and color saturation, for me picture looks way better more colors, clear cockpit, clear MFDs, less bloom. Tell you short, for me with correct Mod settings picture looks more live.

Semi-related question for you (or anyone else who might have an answer). I notice you use a loader so your mod works with open composite. There's another 3Dmigoto-based mod I'd like to use (with open composite) for a different VR app (https://edhm-ui.herokuapp.com). Is it easy to configure a loader to make that work with open composite? Something a non-coder like me could cut and paste? As you can see, I've no idea how these things work – just grateful there are people who do. Thanks

Thanks for updating this so quickly.

 

FYI, the loader section was commented out, at least in the OpenXR verion of the d3dx.ini.  To enable it just remove the ";" in front of the lines so that it looks like this:

As I wrote, I did only few testings, and I'm no more using openXR because it eats too many fps. See post of nightstorm just above. I'll release a fix this evening, I do not have access to my PC today.
