Every single bullet, despite the size of calliber, shows now on the F10 map. In the pic you can see a huey firing it's mini gun and all the bullets...

I'm using the latest Open Beta

Yup, saw that the other day when flying some ACM with some buddies. I don't know whether it would have any performance impacts but one has to wonder whether its a good idea to have that kind of data spewing all over the F10 map. What's the point, no? SAMs....maybe.

I don’t know if this is related, but I was in the F5 over the Caucuses and whenever I fired the cannons, the tracers stayed visible and stopped in mid-flight... I actually flew by them and could see their 10’-20’ tracer lines.

Really odd. I think I took a screenshot of it, if I did I’ll post it.

The whole F10 map makes no sense to me, why do we need to see the trees swaying in the wind on the map. I'm sure we loose so much performance from all this. For example you can gain ALOT of fps just by turning the unit names off. How is this possible, its just white text.... Priorities.

It's the amount that matters. Many names need a lot of CPU power, same goes with 200 little blue dots flying across the map.

Interesting...do a performance test and get back to us.

From a current mission i'm working on, like razo said, its related to the number of units or objects present on the map, FPS is top left. This is with nothing but the labels turned on and off, what kind of performance are we loosing from the rest.

why would you need high fps in a map screen? that makes no sense to me.

as long as its not jerky (which it isnt), what difference does it make?
