[REPORTED] The SA page open causes massive stuttering.

It seems that the Nvidia driver problems have to do with 1000 series or earlier. I have a 1070 and a 2080 ti, with the 1070 if it improves by going backwards, but in the 2080ti I don't have that problem, it goes better with the last drivers.

lol, after rolling back drivers i never get a fps hit in SA page with or without the countermeasure counters. Snake oil........

Unfortunately yesterday again i did have issues. And i didn’t update the drivers.

Need to check if windows did it anyway

I have this problem too, latest Open Beta, tested on both Nvidia 445 drivers.

I can confirm that on my machine as well. Have built a very simple test mission on PG map with just my Hornet, an E-2 Awacs and a flight of A-10C so that the SA page has something to draw.

SA page itself has little impact here but CM Dispensers (doesn't matter if "on" or "bypass") kills FPS and introduces stutters. Basically unplayable, unfortunately.

Have recorded a video of that and will upload it to youtube and link it here once done.

Same problem for me. latest 445.87 driver. My fps drop from 120 to 40 with SA page and dispenser on.

Back to 442.74 nvidia driver: Fps drop disappeared!

I can confirm the same issue. For me the performance degrades quickly whilst viewing the SA page and the Dispenser is turned on, then at its lowest point it suddenly shoots back up to normal FPS and the cycle repeats again and again.

Rolled back to 442.74 and the SA page is fine again.

PS: I have a 1080ti

Just got WAY worse for me after updating to the latest nVidia driver.

I was running about 4 versions out of date until today and now the SA page makes DCS unplayable, wasn't too bad on the old graphics drivers.

Nvidia eventually makes that new drivers nerf old cards to force customers to upgrade, this has always been like that. Maybe it is starting now for the 10 series.

Stay safe

They also send tinfoil hats to some customers for free.

Back on topic - is this fixed in latest open beta?

I recently started flying again in DCS and was trying out the F-18C. Noticed a drop in fps from 60 to as low as 23 fps (currently using VSYNC in track file below, but have tested without VSYNC). When not using VSYNC it has dropped from 90 down to 20ish.

I flew many times trying to narrow down the cause and found it is when the SA page is open and if you turn the dispenser off the FPS drop doesn't occur. See track file attached. All testing down in 2.5.6 latest version as of April 22.
