I have found plenty of photo's from the early eighties when I used to visit airshows.

Here is a couple to start with.

Can anyone confirm that the first one is a B-25 Mitchell or am I completely wrong.

refueling a refueler who is going to refuel an other refueling plane

Refuelingception ! :D

You should read about the Black Buck missions during the Falklands conflict. It was something like 11 tankers with 2 bombers to get them from Ascension island to the Falklands

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Black_Buck#/media/File:Refuelling.plan.black.buck.svg

It was a big pyramid of tankers refueling tankers and bombers so the tankers could refuel other tankers to refuel the other tankers and bombers.

Dutch airforce vs 125th FW

What type of ejection seat is in that F-16, with those stowable air data sensors, is it ACES II? Aren't they fixed except for F-22 seat?

They are (somewhat newer) pop-up air sensors on new ACES IIs. So they are out of the way and don't obscure over-the-shoulder visibility.

Yes, looks like that.

"USS Ross (DDG 71) observes the overflight by a Russian SU 24 aircraft while both were operating in international waters and airspace"

I think that a Russian pilot won't fly so close/low unless he gets permission to do so - is this considered a provocation? Like the Flanker showing off his arsenal to Portuguese AF P-3 Orion?

Isn't there something floating around the internet about the Russian's testing some sort of EW units on Su-24 against the US fleet's AEGIS systems ?

Cheers.
