Pool question: aircrafts in the DCS plans !

Hi there again,

 

I just said D/G because that way you could expand the opportunities on multiplayer environment. For example C to cover D, D to bomb ran targets with CP to launch them and G to make good things to the enemy to provide cover for C and D. LOL Just like a good family.

My first choice would be the Mig-29, but I want the one that can do air refuel and carrier landings (I dont know the different models very well for the Russian planes). Then I would like the Su-27 (same as the 29 carrier landings and/or the 2 seater one), the Su-33. For American planes, I voted for the A-10, even though they announced they were making it, the F-15 and/or the 2 seater version, and the F-18. :) Those would get my buys for planes.

Thats what I though it was, but then I thought I was reading that there were other models that supported those features, carrier landings and air refueling capabilities. I think that it was just people were appreciating other models more and I poorly assumed that they had this feature. Now that I went and look into it, that seems to be the only one along with its twin seat counterpart Mig-29KUB.

I like the idea of a MiG-29K but frankly - I am not spending one "red" cent (nor red, white and blue cent for that matter) on anything relating to this sim that doesn't adress the fact that we need a flyable western carrier based aircraft in this sim. How can you have a US carrier and no flyable aircraft to go with the US carrier?

 

I don't know who is heading up EDs marketing strategy but common sense would say adding flyable F/A-18C, F-16 and a European jet (I like the SEPECAT Jaguar) would generate a lot more revenve than BS. You have to think globally (outside the box/wall) to make real money in computer games.

Thinking outside the box means doing something different and adding Ka-50 is exactly that... it's different, right? Adding aircraft already done in a sim so many times is deffinitely not thinking outside the box.

In ED's case, thinking outside the box would be looking at a Global Flight Sim Market niche. DCS:BS is not it. Not to belittle DCS:BS but not a Global Market Product if you want revenue.:doh:

Don't worry I think its already on their to do list as mentioned in another thread since they already have the information required to make an F-16sim where as the Hornet maybe a different story.:thumbup: BTW Mig29K would rock too.
