what about making one mods instead than two ? thats not very difficult, i acctualy made it in my game, mixing also some other mod ( I don't want to offend the developers ) but i found this very cool and actually its would be nice to see more aircraft in only once mod only too make it work in the mission editor lol . I mixed also some flyable mod deleting from the main code and merged in once folder. i know that is not very legal to purpose to many developers, but hey its working , so why dont make one mod instead than 2 or download a lot of mod just to have the "object". I think it would be cool ( just an opinion )

Hey,
I just fixed the A400M issues, took me like 10 min. The alpha channel of almost all .dds files was set to 0 (0% opacity), just changed it to 1 and added MipMaps while exporting.

Just copy the contents of this folder to the original Mod folder.

Best regards ^^

Edit: Please also install these files:

Edit 2: I uploaded the whole fix to Google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qG5hM3u0YvLBgKcvVBIasV9n5tt15WKr/view?usp=sharing

Military Aircraft Mod A400M fixed.zip 32.46 MB · 63 download

As i suspected, I forgot to put some files in the fix. Unfortunatly I can't put them in the fix, because the upload limit is 50MB in this thread. What I can do is put the files separatly here and tell you what to do.
Put these files into Military Aircraft Mod\Textures\Military Aircraft Mod.zip

Put them into the .zip folder and replace the old files.

MAM_A400M.dds 21.33 MB · 64 download MAM_A400M_B.dds 21.33 MB · 57 download

here you go, just replace the file in the texture zip file

"Ghostmaker"and Strikesabre98" it would be good to read properly. I have given a solution to this problem on the previous page since it was caused by me.

I can't get any of the fixes to work. I really wish I could, I love the MAM pack, I use it in every single .miz I work on.

Would anyone involved with this mod’s creation be willing to add the CH-46 Sea Knight, UH-1Y Venom and CH-53E if I supply the models?

We could really use them for missions involving the Harrier and Tarawa.

CH-46 is sorely needed.

For me, when the B-2 lands on any airfield and on any map, my game crashes.  Anyone else having this problem?

I’ve had a similar issue with the B-2 as well.

Here is a WIP patch
Corrections:
- A400M Atlas texture.
- B-2 Spirit game crash.
- V-22 Osprey starts again.

Thanks a lot for the update, as I love these assets ... the attention to detail is superb, like the navigation and taxi lights, and the assortment of liveries, I employ them a lot ... did a quick test flight and they seem to be working fine, but I didn't test the air refueling of the KC-10:

Thank you for addressing these issues.  This mod is absolutely amazing.

There's one persisting issue, though.  When I had the B-2 land at Nellis, he kept moving at 210 knots and crashed at the end of the runway.  😆

Is this the livery for the attached picture? I downloaded it and installed it to mods/liveries but i cant see this livery. Is thia correct place or not?

Yes, the livery is within that file, I placed it on this path (actually, I placed it within the OvGME repository zip file, but the relative path is the same):

I have highlighted the livery I used on my pic.

A user PM me to know what I meant by "repository zip file", and I chose to answer here in case other users wonder about the same.

On my DCS setup I have each Mod on three different places:

first, I store a copy of the Mod exactly as it was downloaded, this way I can easily apply patches or add extras that can appear later, like additional liveries .. the only edit that I do is make sure that the Mod path is relative to my DCS Saved Games path, adding /Mods/aircraft/ or /Mods/tech/ as needed, like this:

pNIQutk.jpg

This for me is the Mod "source", and many users use to delete it after generating the OvGME repository file, to save on disk space, but I like the ease of updating and adding items to the Mod so I'm willing to pay the space cost, which for this particular Mod is 2.91 GB

2nd, once I have the Mod "source" ready, with the correct path, I use OvGME to compress it and store the result at OvGME repository on my disk, which looks like this:

ESQ24pN.jpg

The compressed Mod weighs just 637 MB for this particular Mod.

This is all the disk space that I need while the Mod is inactive, but when I enable it on OvGME, the utility uncompresses the Mod and places it on the proper location, on this case its within /Saved Games/ like this:

hyQtidD.jpg

At this point, an additional 2.91 GB are needed on the disk, as when the Mod is active I have three copies of it: the source, the compressed copy on the repository, and the active Mod on /Saved Games/

Thus, a 2.91 GB Mod actually needs around 6.5 GB in total when being used ... lets hope no one gets disgusted at my disk space waste 🙂

Greetings,

Eduardo
