HSD bind key + zoom in/out

The HSD of the Viper is such an important tool but it has no bind what so ever. Also when I switch CRM/ACM the HSD is gone so a bind would be very useful, or even better detach the right MFD from changes on the left MFD. Second, for the HSD a bind for the zoom in or out is very much needed as well.

you have a zoom key... look at the HSD and zoom in...

as far as loosing it in different AA sub modes.. You can configure your MFD's to add the HSD in any mode you are in. If you go into missile override mode click on one of the blank OSB"s on the bottom of the mfd... the menu will pop up of different pages you can select... Select HSD and now you can tab to it as an option.

I'm talking about the zoom of the HSD (there is no key-bind for it). Are you with me ?

Not really... I look at my HSD and if I want to zoom in and look closer at it I just press the zoom key... not sure why you would want to add another zoom feature on top of it since there is one already???

Since the viper doesn't really need vertical trim, I have the traditional up and down trim hat bound to the OSBs that controls the HSD range.

Another way I like to use is select CPL instead if the default DCPL on the HSD page. CPL will sync your HSD display range with your FCR display range so you don't have to adjust both of them independently. It's really useful in A-A. In A-G, I use DCPL and HSD cursor to change the range. This is how the Viper's HOTAS supposed to work IRL and I personally don't see a need to bind OSB buttons on HSD page to control the display range.
