IronKirton Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Does anyone know how to get rid of that annoying overlay which says "No radio connected, Join an SRS server or join a mission" , got it on the latest SRS update. File attached Cheers
Andre92 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Ctrl+shift+ESC Is it possible to have it not appearing by default? Regards, André
Gruman Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 From the Github Page of SRS: To configure the overlay hotkey, run DCS once to create a config file in Saved Games\DCS\Config which will look something like so and quit DCS: config = { ["mode"] = "hidden", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+escape", ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config 1 Intel I9 10900k @5.1GHz | MSI MEG Z490 Unify | Corsair Vengeance 64GB - 3600MHz | EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 VPC T-50 Base /w Viper & Hornet Grip | VPC Rotor TCS Pro w/ Hawk-60 Grip | TM TPR LG C2 42" | Reverb G2 | TIR 5 | PointCtrl | OpenKneeboard

IronKirton Posted January 11, 2020 Author Posted January 11, 2020 Found a cure, if you go into the game setting and click on the SRS tab then untick the boxes, it goes away. Cheers for the help though
Nealius Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I wish they used a different key-bind, because Ctrl+Shift+Escape is default for Task Manager. 1
Gruman Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 (edited) Then change it? From the Github Page of SRS: config = { ["mode"] = "hidden", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+escape", ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config Edited January 13, 2020 by Gruman Intel I9 10900k @5.1GHz | MSI MEG Z490 Unify | Corsair Vengeance 64GB - 3600MHz | EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 VPC T-50 Base /w Viper & Hornet Grip | VPC Rotor TCS Pro w/ Hawk-60 Grip | TM TPR LG C2 42" | Reverb G2 | TIR 5 | PointCtrl | OpenKneeboard
Mustang Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Just go into Special section in DCS options and untick 'Show DCS Overlay by Default'.
