[REPORTED]Ka-50 spawns inside wingman in Operation Medvedev 2 Campaign

DCS v2.5.6.47224. Was working fine the day before the patch. Causes explosion. Has happened on all three missions I have played today. I have invincibility on, thankfully.

Actually this happen in other user created missions, showing a a major bug not only a particular misson problem.

 

 

Many missions I used recently, have this problem. I must say, they are not created from scratch.

 

This bug came out on the Tarawa also.

I have reported all ED Blackshark campaign missions showing this issue, it seems to be all missions with a FARP, there is a lot and it took me a few hours to find them all, the team are working on them, but it will take time.

Thanks for your efforts.

 

You probably already know this, but just in case... Creating a mission with a FARP seems to only allow one pad to be used for spawning, regardless of which is selected. Pretty sure you used to be able to put an aircraft on a specific spot like you can on the airfield but now that doesn't seem to work.

 

I haven't had time to try it with a Harrier or Gazelle - wonder if it's module specific?

That's some awesome investigation everyone! I modified a Hip campaign to have a wingman and the problem did not pop up. I modified that same Hip mission to have a player Ka-50 with a wingman. The problem did not pop up.

I note that if you go to the mission planner first and back out - the mission performs as expected.

pretty much last few patches broke this on user made missions as well

it sets position 1 for every plane on the carriers as well, all farps position 1

made for an intersting week or two in MP for sure ....

I am doing the starter campaign and pretty much missions 2 to 5 so far have all started with me inside another ka50. Only way out of this is via the mission editor.
