Here's what a setting of multiAppendBufferSize = 10000000; in terrainoptions41.lua and a setting of Extreme = 6.0; in graphics.lua looks like when in Persian Gulf map

That looks stunning.:shocking: I tested it with my PC also with other maps and I have got some times almost a single digit FPS.

Yeah I can't really go above 3.0 in the Caucasus map due to the sheer number of trees, it's perfectly fine in PG though due to being more sparse and open.

what's this setting of 3.0 you're talking about?

I'd like to try it as well.

...In fact, with 524288 in VR you notice how some objects are not rendered in one eye (6 month bug since 2.5.6)....

OK, thanks for the info, seems I am not alone with this ...

Actually on the "VR objects not rendered in one eye" bug I have found that if you go into

D:\Simulation Games\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\Graphics.lua

And scroll all the way to the bottom you can set the below option

--in stereo and hmd mode you can try to use single parser for both eyes , by default is false , comment to enable it or set to true
stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = true

This option actually works for me as apposed to the one that everyone is entering into the Autoexec.cfg in the saved games config folder, in fact if you have this set there then you are going to want to delete this first before setting the above.

This cured my cloud issues..

Hope this helps

Did you disable or completely remove the comment from the autoexe.cfg file before trying this option?

I would personally remove the comment boot DCS then, exit out and then set the option I described. You could also clear out the metashader2 and fxo file from your saved games folder before rebooting DCS.

Might help.

When I set it to true (Or whatever the setting is to see the S.C. Crew only out of one eye) I get better FPS everywhere else and less stutters. I’m telling you my FPS everywhere else is much better so I just suffer through seeing the deck crew with one eye. I hope they develop this more.
