This is what keeps me inspired to create more AI DCS Ship mods. Seeing others working to bring more assets to DCS. Keep it up. The sky is the limit!!

Yessss ! 👍

Hey admiral,

Thanks for your amazing work. I am just wondering if there will ever be a type 23 frigate? i understand you are busy and have alot of work to do, i was just wondering if that is a possibility in the future 🙂

Hey, Enoy! I created it but I wasn't happy with the model itself so I'm re-working it. Once I finish it. I will release it. All the weapons work on it and it is in-game. I will put it on my shortlist. Thanks for reminding me!

I am INCREDIBLY Excited for the coming Cargo ships and ESPECIALLY the Puller! I wanted to say THANK YOU so much for your incredible work and attention to detail to bring these beauties to DCS! I do love a lot of the modern ships you have re-created but I would love to get my hands on some more cold-war era stuff especially around late s60's to early 80's! I was wondering if you would ever consider doing a Koni-Class Frigate or Alvand-Class Frigate sometime in the FAR future haha?

I was slightly disappointed to see USNS Puller was named after Chesty Puller, a rather famous USMC Officer of considerable standing (even to us Brit Marines). Chesty was an ugly bugger of course but that ship is even uglier, they could have found something sleeker, more stylish, something with a bit of class, something that befits a man of such military historical interest. !!  What do they name after him, a fat ugly old tanker with a dodgy flight deck.

I shall write and complain to The President forthwith.  😵‍💫

(I imagine I might be told to f*ck off - we will see !)

Thanks, Citizen. What you see is the low poly version of the Cargo ships. I have configured them to respond like a mammoth ship. So they won't be in a hurry a speed up.  It's very slow.

Hey KrazyPilot, thanks I appreciate that. I will eventually get back to the older ships. I try to create mods based on what's happening in DCS. In this case the new Sinai Map. After all the Civil mods are released I will get back to normal business.

Thanks, Beldin. The USS Independence also launch the AGM-114L which is perfect against the Iranian patrol boat. It's still a WIP.

Bemme, I've never seen that before. I didn't know it exist. That's an easy conversion although I will be releasing the Hospital ships Mercy and Comfort.

Hey Eddie, I'm not sure why either they did what they did. Right now it's a forward mobile base. The only thing I will add to it is 4 50 Cals. There are two versions of it. Hershel "Woody" Williams is the other. It will be more for the AH-64 and other helicopters out there.

Them thar behemoths look fantastic. I wonder how much more each ship carries nowadays, compared with a ww2 convoy of supply ships, that were PROBABLY  about 1/4 the size.

Hmmm, the largest container ship currently in use seems to be the MSC Irina, 240,000 tons DWT, carrying  over 24,000 boxes at 22 kts max speed, and 400x60x14 meters... Huge... 😜

AvgeekJoe, I updated the Independence to its latest weapons although they change all the time.  Strike Missile and the AGM-114L.

FlyingScotsman I'm sure they had to make multiple trips back in those days just to transport cargo.

It amazes me how large the ships are today. The Largest ship I've piloted was the MV Carter and MV in Diego Garcia. They were close to 80,000 Tons. At the time I thought it was very heavy but looking at the ships out there today. 80,000 tons don't compare to 240,000 tons. Our saying was slow and easy because those ships don't stop on a dime. Some took an entire mile or more to stop. Speaking of Piloting. I've created a Pilot Boat to assist with the Canal Transit. Still WIP!

Hi Admiral,  My brother's Father in Law was a ships Captian for P&O, His first job was on an old Liberty ship, that became 2 halves not long after unloading on the 2nd voyage. Saved by compartmenalisation and a switched on crew who evacuated both halves in double quick time. He ended up on Supertankers and said he never saw port for almost a year at a time, chugging from one Docking Terminal to another about 5miles out. Jacked it in after being stuck a Kharg Island for a year or so, when the American Embassy situation started. He had the most fantastic railway set up in his house and all the trains were from different countries. Says he diverted a supertanker over to Japan, so he could get a great deal on a model, used a Typhoon warning as an excuse, He was a really nice guy

Thats nice Flyinscotsman. Being a CAPT of a ship is a great experience but a lot of stressful and restless nights.  I thought about going into the Merchant Marines but I promised after I retired I would never go back to sea again. 10 years of sea time in the Navy along with 4 deployments was enough for me. Being a Capt of a ship is definitely a humbling job!
