any tally about the date of the next update at the usual place?:

IMHO, we will see the next update somewhere around the last two weeks of January.

ED gets back from break on/after the 11th, we probably won't hear anything until then.

I personally wouldn't expect any update before the end of January, maybe even in February

the team is on a break until the 11th of January, we will then start development again, and then we need time to test any patch. 

 

When we are ready we will update the patch status post.
