FupDuck Posted June 11, 2021 Posted June 11, 2021 (edited) I just spent a few hours flying around in this plane. First of all, it is gorgeous! I love that it comes with so many liveries already! I spent most of the time so far just looking at it in exterior view mode! I'm glad to see that the reflections on the MFDs will get addressed, that was the first thing I noticed, it was very distracting and actually hits my framerate. I have a couple of questions: 1. It seems rather slow. Max speed at mil power is about 450 kn and at max afterburner it's about 550. That was level flight with no loadout, or even pylons (did I mention it looks gorgeous???). Is this speed intended? My limited googling tells me it has a top speed of close to 1500 kn in real life. 2. Is there a gas gauge somewhere? I got a warning at five hundred pounds, then a few seconds later I was a glider. It seems to be a thirsty girl! Fun end to this story: I ended up making a dead stick landing on a public road in my first ever Gripen flight! Anyways, great mod, I look forward to putting a lot of hours on the airframe! The only slight problem I had was using the brakes on landing. After a landing with such a long stroke that it went off the runway, I tried a 10-15 degree AOA landing (as with the Viper). But it wasn't enough! I believe that the W key (which I mapped on my joystik) is not active!! In fact, on the third attempt, I was able to decelerate the plane enough to be able to swerve to take the last junction on the runway, but the plane kept moving despite myself pressing the brakes since the nose gear had touched the landing strip!!! Maybe something needs to be done that I don't know. The aircraft was always in a clean config with half gas. Thanks in advance for your kind attention and to the developers for their fantastic work!

Maggan Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I flew it yesterday and it will be an awesome bird, when it’s worked through properly. I had some issues though, but there is always “Pause” if the disaster is close. Thanks for all the hard work. 1
