RICARDO Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 hello, i have already posted on other forum some pict of this project. i am actually stucked with translations of labels on different panels. do you think that i could find help on this forum where there should be russian talking players ? I am also searching the file that gives that orange ambiant light in cockpits. someone told me that it is called "kabinlight" do you have more information about it's main file? Thanks if you want to see a wip of my work : http://www.checksix-forums.com/showthread.php?t=146532 cheers 13

Vekkinho Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 (edited) Whoa! Too bad I speak no French but pics say everything! Keep it up. Just a small suggestion, I'm not sure how close your work follows the realism, for instance that MACH gauge and AoA/G meter look a bit unreal compared to RL instruments. I mean, I'm not sure if RL mach gauge has this MACH decal and 9G indicator flag on G meter. Can we have Hi res realistic instruments?!! Edit: And cyrillic labels?! Yes, there is a couple of differences with the original. well, let's say that it fits more with my mind ergonomy:D i would call it a little dust cleaning of the original, probably more readable than the old SU-MIG factories. it's anyway small changes, the global look stays the same. if you notice mistakes in translations please tell me. the only thing that i can tell is that i have been flying with theses cockpits for 2 monthes and for thoses who have TRKir, it's an amazing experience. cheers. 1

Mustang Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Magnificent! Got one planned for the Su-27? I believe so :) http://www.checksix-forums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14404&d=1212581567 http://www.checksix-forums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14570&d=1213908659 http://www.checksix-forums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14572&d=1213908659 taken from this thread http://www.checksix-forums.com/showthread.php?t=144500
RedTiger Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Yeah! Now I remember those. The Su-27 one doesn't look as far along as the MiG. Keep it up, both look great.
G3 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 very tidy work  most impressive. sorry i do not have your answer, does anyone have the answer to the original question.

RICARDO Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 hello, as i said, i still have a lot of work to do. i am working on the 29 side panels. it is quiet complicated because of the anamorphosis of the flat original file. any swich has to be strech badly to look normal in game. to give you an idea, i have been working 6 full days of 8 hours only on the right panel. the good thing is that when you have made one swich you can use 50 per cent of the work in the next russian cockpit. the bad thing is when you have increased the level of the work on one cockpit, you want to change things on the precedent cockpit that was already finished.:noexpression: So, i still have the basic dashboard of the 27/33 to upgrade in quality (all instruments have been done already) i would like to change the canopy and windshield i still have to do side panels on thoses two planes and all 25T's cockpit the release will be possible only at the end of all that work because russian planes share some files in the game. i will not do the german version of the 29 i will probably do a russian label version at the end. cheers
Mizzy Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 That is brilliant art Ricky. Well done. Mizzy
