Deigs Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Is there other Australian Sim pilots keen to be a part of a group/clan to multiplayer this future title in a friendly group environment? Just wondering what the simulation community in Australia is like regarding this game. If your keen, let me know. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 161 Squadron Australia's DCS Community
EvilBivol-1 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Given the real-time physics modeling of the rotor blades, multiplayer games will likely be problematic for Aussie pilots due to the compatibility issues arising from the rotor blades spinning in the opposite direction. 1 - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. G3 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 eb: can we safely assume thats a hemisphere joke Deigs: when dcs bs comes out i am sure it will have a strong following down under just like lofc. i for one and several of my mates will definitely be getting into some multiplayer action, make no mistake about that. i am sure there will be squads forming, or existing ones crossing over to the helos.

burnzoire Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 see my sig, we've been around since before lomac and fly pretty much anything. Very casual group of nice people, no "yes sir how high sir" ;) The sim scene has been a bit quiet so not much is happening at the moment. Drop by the forums for a chat though! Things will get busy when DCS is released. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
stealthtemplates Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Yep im Australian, will be looking for a squad when DCS is released :)
Deigs Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Same here. Looking for a serious group (or interested in creating one) that will fly about 2-3 times a week, but I'll be flying more while I'm learning. Not sure what the online environment will be for us Pacific players but all us DCS Aussies should meet up in a single clan. Get hold of a 24hr server and get into the multiplayer in a big way. oldma8 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Hi All, Are there any Aussie online squadrons for multiplayer DCS 2.5? I am looking to join up with any for online missions etc. I know this is an old thread but hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have about 250 hours in the Hornet, so not an expert but can hold my own. Cheers Fish
