DCS: Black Shark English Key Command List and HOTAS assignments

Could it be tourque ?.. I know the rotors are counter rotating, thoguh , so probably not that.

I think adding cyclic on a helicopter with wheels would also cause rotation (the rear wheels are static, but the front wheel swivels, therefore it will pivot around a mid point between the 2 fixed wheels) .. if your stick is not trimed, or is giving input to the left or right, you could see rotation.

check to make sure you dont have more than one thing bound to the cyclic axis (if thats even possible in BS?)

turn on the hand brake (assuming there is one)

..?

Thanks guys.

My concern is that its associated with unwanted cyclic input (iffy controler calibration)

Of course, if its supposed to happen through inertia or tourque etc thats fine...

I have tried trimming whilst stationary and rudder input in the opposite direction does correct it but as soon as the rudder is centred it starts to drift again...

Obviously a bad controller calibration just makes a difficult job of flying the shark near impossible!!......and my x45 is very old now, hence my conern that its the equipment not the sim detail

Gary

Did you engage auto hover ?

If you engage it then it will come back to its original heading.

Auto hover = Alt hold + heading hold + pitch&bank hold (I believe)

And if you have the problem with the BS input: It's not the STT-Software but the game. There is a long thread about this over at the CH-Hangar and the problem for the Cougar is quite similar. Apparently the game does not recognize those unless you slow the input down (e.g. with CHARDLY - command for CH after each input). And it's not even down to odd combinations like RightShift + RightAlt + key, but also for simple things like Shift + key, depending on stick and OS-combination.

This is a bug in the input system that seeped through the cracks in the Russian release. It will be fixed in the western release. ED has provided a replacement input file on the Russian forum that should fix the issue a couple of days after release.

Ahh. I was wondering what was going on. I did notice that if I changed some of the mapping to exactly as the key list says.

So if it says F + RCTL, I would have problems if mapped as RCTL + F.

Do you have a link to this thread EB?

Just to let everyone know....

That is no bug. When you program a button you can assign a keys or a macro and then you give it a name. If you delete the key without clearing the assignment, the assignment still stays, but in the list the keystroke is replaced by a blank for all other buttons, too, sharing the same configuration. If you then revert it to unprogrammed, the modifications still stay the same of course.

And it's not even down to odd combinations like RightShift + RightAlt + key, but also for simple things like Shift + key, depending on stick and OS-combination. I got my stick working correctly with a lower KeyRate, but it takes at least half a second now to fire rockets and missiles = not a good solution :noexpression:

ty, the lower key rate worked out an issue of me firing rockets

Yes, a link to the post or file would really be helpful as "Ne Ponemaji Po Russki" or "I can`t understand russian". Anybody willing to help us poor westerners out on this ?

I would like to map the movement of the Shkval to my microstick. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Well, if you are programming CH Products, there are a couple ways to do it. One is assign the axis in the game. Or if you wanted to use the keyboard assigned keys on either of the axis all it would take is a wee li'l script:

CMS.B* = [js2.a2 < 70]; // Mini-Joystick Up = KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Up

CMS.B* = [js2.a2 > 180]; // Mini-Joystick Dn = KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Down

CMS.B* = [js2.a1 < 70]; // Mini-Joystick Aft = KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Left

CMS.B* = [js2.a1 > 180]; // Mini-Joystick FWD = KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Right

Then, assign:

KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Up ;

KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Down .

KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Left ,

KU-31-Shkval-Slew-Right /

to CMS.B* (you've got 128 CMS buttons to choose from so fill in the * with a CMS button #)

Ghost did you manage to sort out a map file for us CH users?

Yes. I'll load it up at the CH-Hangar later today. I've got one for Game Mode as well as Sim (Real) Mode.

DCS: BlackShark Lista comandi lingua Italiana (modalità reale)

e buon divertiemnto a tutti
