[REPORTED] LHA Tarawa Comms

Hi team, 

 

i have a reoccurring issue with the LHA Tarawa Comms behavior. 
this has started with the last update and reoccurs in SP,own created missions as well as multiplayer missions online. 
 

when contacting ATC of Tarawa , it answers with bearing, altimeter and a runway- as if it was an airfield... after that initial contact I cannot communicate with it 

, if I try to request landing it doesn’t reply, bearing however it will send again. 
 

it used to be that the Comms were like a „normal“ carrier. Tarawa atc gave more details, case I expected; a brc as well as multiple check in points like „see me at ten“ etc. 

after landing it also gave a bugged LSO rating (something along the lines as „no Rating, no Comms) 

 

 

was this change intended ? 

is there a bug fix coming to not have the Tarawa behave like an airfield anymore ?

Bump on this issue, it also appears as if it does work for other modules.

If you try to land in a CVN, it triggers the "airfield communications".

havent heard anything on this topic posted anywhere. 
I was hopefull that with the new SCarrier releases they might "touch" the Tarawa issues.

Even at Tarawa on the aft anti-aircraft gun-shells fly out below the barrel

I recently got back into the Harrier and would like to see proper comms with Tarawa ATC, given I have Supercarrier installed

Instead of doing every landing call and seeing "No Grade - Lack of Communication" on touchdown?

Any updates on this issue? Has this problem been fixed yet? Was hoping to return to the Harrier and jumped in today only find the Tarawa thinks it's an airfield....

The ATC is very poor and it has many bugs in DCS World. Maybe two weeks....

Sure would be nice if we could get some movement on this issue?! There was an open beta when we had the carrier comms back in 2019 or something like that, just put it back in lol how hard can it be??

Problem still here and we cannot do anything about it, all the carrier fucntionning stuff is dealt on ED's side of things.
