USUAL WARNINGS: Only one MOD of this type, (ie based on P-51D), right in the JSGME. and disable it in case of update.
So here is the famous F6F GRUMMAN which was given to us by our friend Markindel who had done an extraordinary job on this device.
We warmly thank him and our other friend Hawkeye who also participated.

Well we resumed this work so that everything works for 2.7

 AVERTISSEMENTS HABITUELS : Un seul MOD de ce type, (c'est a dire a base de P-51D), a droite dans le JSGME. et désactivez le en cas de mis a jour. 

Donc voici le fameux F6F GRUMMAN qui nous a été remis par notre ami  Markindel qui avait fait un travail extraordinaire sur cette appareil. Nous le remercions chaleureusement ainsi que notre autre ami Hawkeye qui a participé également.

Bien on a repris ce travail pour que tout fonctionne pour la 2.7

Hi, great mod, but how to drop the tail hook at landing? Seems there is no command, and does not come down when you drop the landing gear either?

Hi Fab8ball,

The same goes for the F4U, and all planes that use the P-51 cockpit.

There is no command available for the tail hook.

Therefore, you cannot extend it.

Would love to have an AI version of this. Same with the B-25. Great looking MODs.

That way I can use them with the p-51.

Je voudrais clarifier l'"AVERTISSEMENT HABITUEL":

 Cela signifie-t-il que si j'ai vos autres mods basés sur P51 (WW2 AI et B25), je ne peux en activer qu'un seul dans OVGME à un moment donné ?  Est-ce exact?

 Aussi, si l'un de ces mods est activé, est-il toujours possible de faire apparaître le P51 natif ?  Ou apparaîtra-t-il selon le mod activé ?

I would like to clarify the "USUAL WARNING":

Does this mean that if I have your other P51 based mods (WW2 AI and B25), I can only have one of them activated in OVGME at any given time? Is that correct? 

Also, if one of these mods is activated, is it still possible to spawn the native P51? Or will it spawn as whichever mod is enabled?

Does this mod still work? 

I'm using OVGME to install it in the game's main folder.  I see it in the list in the Create Fast Mission menu.  But It loads the mission and puts me in the map view (F10).  And there is no F6F when you view (F2) all the other ac in the mission..

 

BTW, the F4U mod works fine, and is installed the same way.  I am only enabling one of these at a time that use the P-51D.

Alguien me puede explicar bien  , por favor , còmo instalar este Mod y el del Corsair 

Lo he intentado varias veces y no lo he conseguido 

Lo hice primero con el OVGME y luego siguiendo el comentario , me descarguè el JSEMG o asì , y tampoco doy con la soluciòn

Just tried it, and I get the same issues as you, the aircraft can be seen on the Mission Editor, but not once the mission starts. Tried both ST and MT and its the same. On the log I get these messages:

 

ERROR   APP (Main): Error: Unit [P-51D]: Corrupt damage model.
ERROR   APP (Main): Invalid Unit Module: "P-51D"
INFO    APP (Main): dbox not found , skip
APP (Main): Error: Unit [P-51D]: Corrupt damage model.
ERROR   APP (Main): Invalid Unit Module: "P-51D"

You just have to unzip the Mod's files on the DCS program folder.

However, as this Mod replaces many P-51D files, its author suggest to use a Mod Manager, so that you can easily deactivate the Mod once you don't want to fly the hellcat anymore.

Anyway, this is moot since it seems this Mod is not working on the current DCS version.

Sólo tienes que descomprimir los archivos del Mod en la carpeta del programa DCS.

Sin embargo, como este Mod reemplaza muchos archivos P-51D, su autor sugiere usar un Administrador de Mods, para que puedas desactivar fácilmente el Mod una vez que ya no quieras volar el Hellcat.

De todos modos, esto es discutible ya que parece que este Mod no funciona en la versión actual de DCS.
